Family-friendly holiday rentals in Den Oever

Fred and Kelly’s place is absolutely wonderful. We stayed because the price was better and there was a little more room than many places directly in the city. Though we looked forward to it, we didn’t expect to fall in love with it…and we did! Staying outside of the city is pretty great. It’s a 10ish minute walk to the train station, and then an easy navigation to wherever you need to go. We didn’t mind the “commute” a bit, and it was nice to start off and wind down in a quieter setting. The place itself is well kept, clean, and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot with good pressure. We enjoyed casting Netflix on the TV with the fireplace on in the evenings, and we spent a couple of mornings in the garden. We booked this spot our entire stay, but also spent one night in Amsterdam to experience “city life,” and also spent one night in Utrecht. These were perfect additions to our home base plan. I’d definitely stay here again!

We had a great extended weekend at this beautiful place. ( 4 adults, 3 children) We lacked nothing. The communication was great, the contact very friendly. A great house, beautiful location, great island.

It was just nice and we didn't lack anything. The accommodation was cozily furnished and we felt right at home. The area invites you to stroll, but we didn't feel the need to leave the yard. On the terrace we were able to enjoy the good weather and the time has passed while watching the farm animals. A place to unwind and come down. The breakfast service and the groceries from the farm shop were great!

Fabulous stay at Cottage Paulus What a great experience! The forest cottage "Paulus" is tastefully decorated and is located in a beautiful, quiet place in the middle of nature. Exactly what we needed to completely recharge. We were there with our two dogs, and they too had the time of their lives. The spacious, fully fenced garden was perfect – safe and large enough for endless snooping and scrambling around. Fareen, the hostess, is incredibly friendly and helpful. From the first contact, everything felt familiar and relaxed. She was quick to respond to questions and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended for anyone who loves peace, nature and an animal-friendly place with character. We will definitely come back!

Our team of 6 people, business travel after one night, 1, the owner of the house proactively communicated to confirm the arrival time, it was planned to arrive at 8:30, the actual arrival was 9:30 -10, with 1 hour notice, the host was very patient; 2, There is a tree house and a swing in the house; 3. Easy parking🅿️; 4. Surrounded by 2.5km sea and beach, there are shells on the beach🐚, which is suitable for walking to see the beach🏖️;

Had a wonderful stay with Barbera and Jurjen. Due to the orientation of the cottage, you have the idea that you are staying all alone in the middle of nature. In the morning, you wake up to the stork of the storks on their nests, and in the morning sun you can enjoy the peace, quiet and beauty of the area. Earnewald is within walking distance of the cottage and offers the much needed amenities. Wonderful stay, highly recommended!

We had a wonderful holiday in Moniek’s beautiful house. We were so comfortable and relaxed as Moniek provided everything we could need. There were lots of lovely, stylish extras in her house too that made our stay feel special. The neighbourhood is great; quiet, peaceful and full of beautiful views of boats, beaches parks, nature and water. Yet there is also loads to do with teenagers, being so close to Amsterdam, Ajax and Delft. Almere is the perfect place to explore by cycling. The week went so quickly. Moniek was very helpful in giving useful and detailed info and in answering questions quickly. I would 100% highly recommend this AirBnB to others.

We had a great time during our girlfriend weekend. A lovely cottage with nice amenities. Everything was thought of. We also enjoyed the outdoor space very much. Perfect for a weekend with friends or family. Hari is incredibly friendly. We will be happy to come back!

The apartment is ideally located – only 2 minutes walk to the city center and in 5 minutes you are already on the beach. The apartment was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. I would like to highlight the hosts: super warm, helpful and likeable – you felt welcome right away. Thank you for a great stay, we will be happy to come back!

We were very excited about the yard, the garden and the apartment. There are so many beautiful details that you would need many days to discover everyone. Everything was so creative and cozy, you can tell that a lot of work, passion and love is in things. We also liked the animals very much.... We had a very warm welcome and lots of great tips for excursions - just because we were also traveling with dogs, it was wonderful that they could also have their fun and we could take them everywhere...we had a nice time and filled them well! Thanks to Patries and Mike and their animals!!

Fantastic house, exactly as described, beautiful location with bikes to commute along lovely, easy, safe route to train station. Perfect

The location is fantastic, walkable to any thing you need…easy access to metro and trains. Beds are comfy, even the small single bed was good! Yes the clock tower bell is loud but beautiful and we used earplugs at nights and it was fine. Also some crowd noise at night but again, bring earplugs. I would stay here again absolutely. 4 women and we stayed 9 days, felt totally safe…it was so lovely.

We had a great stay at this apartment! Everything was very clean, tastefully decorated and furnished with a lot of love for detail. We felt comfortable right from the beginning. The location was ideal – quiet but still central, so we could easily reach everything. We particularly liked the warm communication with the host- always friendly, helpful and reliable. A small note: the stairs to the apartment are – typical of this beautiful old building – a bit steep. It wasn't an issue for us, but you should know. We would love to come back anytime and can absolutely recommend the place!

Very cozy, nice place to stay. Central, everything nearby. Beach, restaurants, shops, station, plenty of parking ( paid). Annette is super friendly, responds quickly. Everything about it is well arranged. Enjoyed together with my daughter and our dog. We will definitely come back!

We had a lovely Easter weekend with the three of us (dreams of 1.5 with us). The apartment is wonderfully spacious, everything is available and the outdoor space is great. Plenty to play for children, trampoline, appliances and lots of equipment. In the area are many nice villages where you can eat well.

We enjoyed our stay at Wendela's. We were warmly welcomed. The "Rosenhäuschen" was exactly what we had imagined. It was our home away from home. And we'll be back for sure.

Very cozy and cozy cottage. Very nicely decorated and nice host! Everything you needed was present!

Great location. Walking distance to Cocksdorp. At the edge of the park, therefore a nice view and tranquility. Easily traveled by car. Three bathrooms, so good for groups (in our case three families) and yet privacy and private place.

What a lovely cottage I have and how beautiful and quiet it is in the greenery! We don't have anything negative to report. We will definitely be back here!

Rose's cottage is very cozy and the garden offers a lot of privacy. We felt right at home. We had a wonderfully relaxing weekend with our daughter of 8 in the cozy park on which the cottage is located. Around the corner the heath and a beautiful sand drift nearby the cozy Nunspeet with the best Italian ice cream at "Di Verso" . We would love to come back to relax and explore the beautiful surroundings even further. Thank you Rose!!

We traveled as a large family and especially for children the garden with trampoline is great. The house is situated in a holiday park and many surrounding cities, attractions and attractions are easily accessible by car. You can also get to Amsterdam or Utrecht quickly on a day trip. The house is equipped with everything you need, we were 7 adults and 2 children, so there was more than enough space, the house is designed for 16 people. The hostess was friendly and always available for questions. Ideal for an extended weekend in the Netherlands.

Very nice and quiet apartment. Well built, easily usable for 6 people. The communication was very friendly and always fast. Parking place provided. 7 km Away from the ferry dock, but very accessible by bicycle. Supermarket about 100 m away.
