Monthly Rentals in Diamond Beach

Everything was perfect!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It feels remote (except for the road) but is easy driving distance from Vik if you need a few local amenities (shop, cafe, fuel). The cabin was pretty toasty (warm) and well insulated (we had to turn down the heating even though it was April!). We were only there one night but we made use of the facilities to cook (a hob with 2 rings) and there were enough pots, pans and plates to make this work for us. I seem to recall this was one of the showers that didn't smell of sulphur which was a nice bonus. Even though we were a bit late in the year for the Northern lights the big windows at the front were lovely to watch the sky as the sun was setting. The row of cabins was also pretty easy to locate as you could see them from the main road.

This place was absolutely stunning. Thank you so much Viðar and Dagný for having us. The views from the house were incredible, it had absolutely everything we needed and was clean. Looking forward to staying here whenever we can get back to Iceland.

Beautiful house, with an outdoor bathtub from which we could see the Northern Lights despite being May. Initially we had problems with the temperature of the outdoor bathtub but contacting the host was resolved with care and attention. I highly recommend it.
