Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Diemen

Great family house near the museums. I like that it was away from the hubbub but easy enough to walk downtown (15 min walk). The place is very much lived in and not a sterile management-run Airbnb. I would describe the furnishings/decor as shabby-chic and comfortable. The kitchen is great. There were 2 sweet cats that lived there with us and required very little care. It had everything we needed that wasn’t quite listed- washer, dryer, heating, 2 full bathrooms/one half, dishwasher, separate freezer, hairdryer. I have no hesitations recommending this place.

Very nice, quiet and welcoming apartment. It feels like home. Kitchen equipment to cook as we please. Small garden area bringing a touch of nature. Responsive and welcoming hosts.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Magical Stay on the Water! Staying at this river Airbnb in Amsterdam was hands down one of the most unique and unforgettable experiences of my travels. The location is beyond dreamy — right on the water, with stunning views of the canal life drifting by. Waking up to the gentle ripple of the river and sipping coffee on the deck felt like something out of a movie. ✨ The interior was cozy, stylish, and spotless — you can tell the hosts put a lot of love into making the space warm and welcoming. Every little detail, from the plush bedding to the curated local decor, made it feel like a true home away from home. The hosts were absolute gems — super communicative, thoughtful, and even left us a welcome gift with local treats . They gave us great recommendations for places to eat and explore, and made check-in a breeze. Being gently rocked to sleep on the river, then waking up to swans gliding past the window… I can’t imagine a better place to stay in Amsterdam

Everything was great. Max is a super host, he was super helpful and very thoughtfull. He did much more than we expected and asked for. His house is wonderful, calm, clean and has an amazing view. The neighbourhood is great, it was very easy to go to the center and other cities around. Thanks to Max, we have enjoyed our trip to Amsterdam to the fullest, its an ideal place to stay with family.

Beautiful canal home on along the Amstel River. It was a great base for a week of exploring Amsterdam. Private, cozy, yet spacious; spread over 4 levels connected by short staircases. Lots of art and interesting decor. Private garden out back; comfy tv room on top level. We enjoyed sitting at the table by the window overlooking the river in the morning and early evening. The kitchen had pretty much everything you'd need for meal prep, and was part of a great room for dining and watching tv. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom and WCs were spacious and clean. So nice to stay in someone's real home with character and feel a part of the neighborhood. Would gladly return if we are back in Amsterdam!

The house is cosy and extremely well located. Perfect for kids. Host is very nice and flexible. Everything was perfect -- including the weather, which is rare in the Netherlands. If the house is available, this is my place to go in Amsterdam.

A top accommodation, a whole experience

Nadine's apartment in the Jordaan neighborhood is simply a stunning urban oasis: beautifully designed, comfortable, well located, and perfect for a couple. While we didn't have the pleasure of meeting Nadine and her partner, her instructions were spot-on; they even included a beautifully printed guide...an idea which we're going to steal for our own AirBnB! The kitchen is fully equipped, and the furniture is beautiful and comfortable. The big tub is a bonus, and while the weather prevented us from really making use of the little courtyard, it is just as attractive as the pictures indicate. You also can't beat the location: Jordaan is a quiet, walkable neighborhood, well away from all the bustle of the more touristed areas, but packed with restaurants, bars, and public transit connections. We will absolutely be back.

Perfect! The apartment is really beautiful and It has everything I needed. Communication with the host was super easy and Masha has been also very helpful. The area and the neighborhood are quiet but you still can find everything you need from supermarkets to any kind of restaurants and bars or shops. Also, there are LOTS of different trams or buses taking you to te city center (literally 18 minutes to Dam Square) or wherever you need. There Is also a train station 10 minutes walking from the house and It has been really helpful when I went to Utrecht and Rotterdam without having to go back to Centraal Station. A very nice park Is located just 5 minutes walking. This Is definitely the best area I've been staying in Amsterdam and I will definitely come back. Masha apartment Is recommended!!! We were thrilled with Jurjen’s place. Homey and lush, clean and vibrant. We were so happy to be there. Jurjen provides clear instructions and wonderful recommendations. Per his suggestion we rented a boat & that was one highlight of our trip! Jurjen’s place is the best example of Airbnb that I’ve stayed. The kitchen is completely stocked with very nice quality. The beds are comfortable after long days exploring. Truly a gem. Amsterdam is a hip and magical city and this home is all that and more.

Our host provided clear, precise check in instructions and directions to the apartment using public transportation. Good location, walkable to many restaurants, nearby grocery and outdoor market. We enjoyed evenings on the balcony over looking the canal at sunset. We look forward to returning to Amsterdam and would stay here again.

What a great stay! I had a last minute opportunity to head to Amsterdam to join my parents on vacation…their hotel was sold out, so I was on my own. I found this gem about a mile from City Center, super accessible by foot or tram to everything! Thank goodness Jorrit was there to greet me and help with my heavy suitcase…the stairs (2 flights) were SUPER narrow on the treads (seems to be the case everywhere in the city) and about as wide as my suitcase. But once upstairs, the place was exactly as described…plus a lovely welcome basket with Dutch treats! I was prepared for no AC, but there was a recent heatwave so it was hottt. But it cooled down and was beeezy with the windows open and fans on. Very safe neighborhood, and even a pub within 100 steps (but not noisy or rowdy). The kitchen was well stocked, so I saved on things like salt and pepper and EVOO and basics. Jorrit gave lots of GREAT recs on where to go & what to do. A super stay and I’d definitely rent here again! Thanks!

Don't have a bad word to say about the place. From the moment I booked the host was very responsive, gave us helpful suggestions for local amenities and online shopping. Was there to greet us and welcome us to her lovely home. The house is beautiful and is set in beautiful surroundings close enough to Amsterdam to enjoy the city but also enjoy the peace outside of it. Murielle was responsive enough to be available whenever we needed without being overbearing. If I was travelling back to Amsterdam with a large group I wouldn't hesitate to book again. Large house with lots of space, directly on the water and a short walk to Abcoude. Easy communication and check in.

Lovely location; the owner’s family live next door and are very welcoming and friendly! Wander Island is a really good restaurant. Lake is wonderful. Only 30 mins from Amsterdam by Park and Ride.

My family of 5 had a wonderful time at this home! It was beautiful, clean, relaxing and extremely convenient to get around town via bus/metro. We walked every morning around town because the town is extremely charming with several restaurants and a market 2 blocks away. I made breakfast every morning in the beautiful kitchen which had everything one would need. The host was so incredibly amazing, he tracked my flight and knew I would be arriving hours before I told him I would be so he was waiting for us which was amazing after a long flight. He was so sweet, courteous and caring. We were greeted with a warm welcome and many, many treats for us in the refrigerator. From eggs, milk, selection of fresh breads, sweets, fruit, wine, a delicious pear juice, selection of deli meats, butter, and many more items. The warmest welcome we’ve ever received. As if that’s not enough, the AC worked great! The pics don’t do it justice. This is a must stay! Thank you so much for everything!!

The accommodation (villa) was very nice and modernly furnished. There was everything you needed. Lenotien was always easily accessible.
