Monthly Rentals in Djúpivogur

Well located house near the sea; if the weather permits it's the perfect place to admire the Northern Lights and the stars. The apartament, however, it's quite small for more than 3 people (considering the baggages); anyway it has all the comforts you might need for a night, or more, stay.

I visited in early April and had the whole place to myself. The restaurant was not open as it was a Sunday but the host left some delicious coffee cake for me!

Great place to stay, there is a small kitchenette available, stove, microwave, fridge, coffee maker and juice dispenser. Would highly recommend this place if you are visiting south coast of Iceland.

Our encounter with Kjartan started from the point we booked his cabin. He's the kind of host that I really appreciate for his proactive nature to provide assistance to welcome 1st timers like us to Iceland. We got 'lost' trying to find his cabin cos we didn't quite follow his instructions well, hahahh..and he was super super patient. The cabin is very cosy, new and exactly as shown in the pictures. Comfy bed, strong wifi connection, perfect for a good rest after taking in all the sights. More importantly, Kjartan is very responsive, easy to comms and friendly. Thanks for everything, Kjartan! :)
