The Great Pigeonry

Chateau Grimard was built at the end of the 13th century and is immediately next to the river Lot. It is set amongst vineyards and sun flower fields, with 8 hectares of land all of which can be used by guests. The Chateau has 3 gites, all of which have sufficient privacy. Guests can swim in the river, kayak, and there is also a large shared salt water swimming pool . The historic town of Puy L’Eveque is five minutes drive away. Bookings are accepted from a Saturday to a Saturday only.

The accommodation comprises a bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a living room with wood-burning stove and a well-equipped open-plan kitchen, and a private terrace with views over the countryside. For lovers of calm and nature: a wooden farmhouse located in a nest of greenery 3 km from Puy l'Evêque, a medieval city in the Lot Valley, about 30 km from Cahors and about an hour from Rocamadour, Padirac and St Cirq la Popie (ranked among the most beautiful villages in France). The Church of St Sernin de Cazes was listed as a historical monument on July 9, 2003 and is located 500 meters from our house.
