Program Overview
This page will explain what Airbnb's Pro Photography program is, how the program works, and more.

What we do
We know how difficult it can be for Airbnb Hosts to take and upload their own high quality photos and videos.
Since 2011, our goal has been to offer an easy and effortless service that will help Hosts improve the quality of their content and assist them in completing the sign-up process.
Services we provide

Homes
Interior and architectural photography

Experiences
A mix between lifestyle and documentary photo and video

Portraits
Environmental portrait photography

Frequently asked questions
How much will I get paid per assignment?
Rates may vary, but are primarily based on: the type of assignment, location and size of the property. The rate will always be visible while reviewing the assignment details before you accept or decline the assignment.
How many assignments will I get?
This can differ from market to market as it is dependent on Hosts in your region requesting professional photography. Occasionally, we have projects that target specific locations or listings that can drive more demand.
Do you compensate for travel?
We sometimes offer travel compensation based on the driving distance between the listing and your registered address. Travel compensation varies from market to market. If travel compensation is offered, it will be noted on the assignment request.
How can I be considered for all types of media assignments (homes, experiences, portraits)?
In order to be considered for other types of assignments, you must share examples of that type of work with us so we can evaluate whether you’re a good fit.
Can I use the images in my portfolio?
Yes. Airbnb secures full ownership and copyrights to the photos but we provide you a right to display any photos you take in your portfolio, subject to the terms of your agreement with Airbnb. Please do not provide any raw or untouched images to Hosts.
What are the expectations of me for post production?
Aside from merging any bracketed images you take, we do not require any additional retouching or editing prior to uploading the RAW images.
Can I photograph while traveling?
Yes! Please update your list of available markets on your profile within the settings page on Navigate.
Please don’t forget to remove this market once you’re back to avoid receiving future requests. If traveling abroad, please ensure you have all of the proper VISA requirements that allow you to continue to receive these freelance assignments. How long do I have after the photoshoot until I have to upload images?
To increase Host satisfaction, please prioritize uploading the images as soon as possible. Preferably the same day or within 24 hours of the photoshoot.
