百 HAKU <100-year-old Quaint Japanese Style Villa>

HAKU is a Japanese Style Villa. You can enjoy your private time as in your home. “HAKU“ is one of the readings of the character “百” which means “hundred”. Medieval Haiku poet, Basho Matsuo likened eternal passage of time to "百代の過客", a permanent traveller. In his time, a hundred years was expressed as eternal. HAKU was originally built as a farmer’s shed about a hundred years ago. It was recently relocated and renovated for another hundred years. HAKU will welcome you as traveling companions.

Alive with the sounds of nature — a quiet day just for the two of you. Dotori Cabin is a small earth house built by hand using clay and wood — furniture, paintings and all. Every morning, we serve a warm lacto-vegetarian breakfast with organic seasonal vegetables from our own garden. No MSG, just pure natural flavor. Behind the cabin sits a dry sauna built from clay, wood, and stone. (Extra fee; book 1 day ahead) No TV. Peaceful and private. 5 min drive to Hyeopjae Beach. Max 2 guests only.

The Cube in the forest is a uniquely cozy space that gives a floating sensation amidst abundant natural light and lush greenery. It was built in 1993 by a coelacanth, resembling a thrilling spaceship-like structure, and we inherited it from the previous owner. We have opened it as a vacation rental with the desire for our friends to enjoy the relaxed and cool ambiance, which is both impressive and effortlessly stylish.
