It is located at the end of the road and therefore there is no car traffic past the cabin! Here you can enjoy the tranquility and the view, with sun from morning to evening🌞 Good opportunities for hiking in the mountains nearby, or try your luck at fishing. Our Salty Cabin lies in the village of Zoganje (Zogaj), surrounded by an olive grove counting over three hundred trees. Located nearby are Salina salt pans, a salt factory-turned-bird park where both silence and sounds of nature such as birds chirp and frog “ribbit” can be experienced and enjoyed. Location is perfect for enjoying birdwatching and getting to know around half of the European bird species. Out of 500 species, around 250 can be seen flying over, or around, the Salty Cabin.
