This 120 m² detached gas-free house is equipped with a heat pump. Here you can enjoy peace, space, unobstructed views and beautiful sunrises and sunsets. You will see many meadow and birds of prey here and varied views over the fields. 2 bicycles at your disposal. If you stay longer than a week or are in transit, your clothes will be washed.

Meeuwen Manor - A treasure near Amsterdam

This is your chance to stay in The Meeuwen Manor (Meeuwen means gulls in Dutch), the most spectacular and best known house of the historic town of Edam, overlooking the Markermeer lake and next to Fort Edam, an UNESCO protected fortress and nature reserve. Meeuwen Manor, an 18th century house that was converted to its current unique state around 1910, is located only 22 kilometers from the centre of Amsterdam and offers a wonderful and stylish room with access to an amazing garden.

The studio is the top floor of our back house, with its own entrance, small shower/toilet and kitchenette. The space is 10 by 6 meters, overlooking the Beemsterringvaart. It's a 10-minute walk to the bus stop. Bus 314 will take you one way to the historic city of Hoorn and the other way to Amsterdam Centraal. The bus takes 40 minutes to get there. It is best to buy tickets in advance of your visit to Amsterdam travel tickets so that you can use all public transport (26/33 euros)
