Private Basement Apartment near Downtown

This airplane hangar-inspired apartment features a private entrance, a sunken master suite, a kitchenette, lounge space, and shared laundry. It is located in the basement of the main house with a family living upstairs along with dogs and our 1 year old granddaughter. This apartment is walking distance from urban trails, brewery, coffee shop, bakery, and cafe. A great downtown and more breweries are just 2 miles away. Bike and Electric Scooter rental hubs located nearby. Easy interstate access. Guests are also welcome to use the backyard space to lounge or bbq. The apartment is a basement apartment is quiet and private located in the Old North End. One may hear footsteps from the residents upstairs, but that is about it. It is a great spot to sleep, refresh, enjoy a movie, and be alone. There is also a backyard with a BBQ, fire pit, and seating that is shared by the main house. Guests may come in contact with the residents from upstairs and their friendly dog. We live upstairs and are readily accessible via text or a knock on the back door. We have lived in the Springs for 19 years, so we have some good recommendations if you want them. We would love to check you into your apartment, but if you would like to be left alone - we get that too! The home is located in the historic Old North End. The houses are all custom homes built between 1900 and 1960, each with its own unique look. It is a fun neighborhood to walk around and experience the shops, restaurants, and friendly atmosphere. It is best to have a car in Colorado Springs, but a bicycle will probably serve you very well. There are bike trails and lanes throughout downtown and most everything is within 3-5 miles of the apartment. The public bus stops two blocks from the apartment, but you would have to Uber/Lyft/taxi from the airport. There is plenty of street parking if you rent a car or drive your own. Colorado Springs and the mountains are best experienced by car or bicycle if you really like to ride.

The completely renovated upstairs apartment has lots of charm. Very spacious with two floors included in the apartment.
