Deichhaus Rysum on the North Sea

The special location of the cottage directly on the dike on the North Sea coast in a secluded location makes it unique. Surrounded by dyke and fields, it is centrally located between Emden and Greetsiel. Bicycle tours and extensive walks on the North Sea have their charm in all seasons. Not only in summer, but also in spring, autumn and winter, this spot of earth is balm for the soul. There is a bakery and a mill café (open on Saturdays from April to September) in the village. By bike it is 20 minutes to the sea.

It was important to us to maintain the original character and combine it with today's living comfort. Regionality, sustainability and individuality were our compass. On the edge of the historic village center in a quiet location, just a stone's throw to the dike, the harbor and the ferry to Ditzum.

East Frisian Cottage

If you like peace and quiet and want to spend a vacation close to nature, this is the perfect place for you. Our vacation home is located in the old village center of Petkum, close to the ferry terminal to Ditzum. From here you can enjoy the vastness of East Frisia on both sides of the Ems - whether on foot or by bike or while fishing on one of the many canals (with guest card) or while watching the wild geese. Culturally, Emden also has plenty to offer (art gallery, state museum, ...).

A warm welcome to Tidehuus Krummhörn. Our house is a detached house and is on 1600 sqm property. It has been lovingly renovated in 2020. Last makeover living room 10/24. It is located in the quiet village of Loquard. The dyke edge is about 2 km, bakery 1 km (Rysum), other purchases 11 km (Pewsum) or 12 km (Emden) The Tidehuus is a good starting point for extensive bike rides in East Frisia. Relax in this special and quiet place to stay. Located directly on the Petkumerhafen, it offers many opportunities for bike tours and walks. Several times a day, the ferry goes to the idyllic fishing village of Ditzum. Emden and the East Frisian surrounding area offer many attractions and leisure opportunities. The kitchen has a dishwasher. If necessary, two guest beds can be provided for children. Linens and towels are provided.

This approx. 80 m² house from 1875 is truly unique. In 2018, it was pitted by us and thoroughly renovated with great attention to detail. Our aim is to make the historical perfection of this house tangible even in the present. Our guests can therefore look forward to a thoughtful and lovingly furnished holiday home in one of Emden's most beautiful locations. Approximately 10 minutes by car from the city centre of the seaport city.

The listed house was extensively renovated in 2020/21 with a lot of love. The tastefully furnished house has lost none of its charm and originality. Witnesses to its old age are the original parquet and plank floors in the living rooms and bedrooms and terrazzo floors in the kitchen. The house is very carefully furnished with beautiful softwood antiques. In sunshine, life takes place outside on the terrace in the enclosed garden.
