The EyerHof - the special vacation home in the Palatinate

The EyerHof - owned by the Eyer family for three generations - is a farmhouse over 120 years old that was completely renovated from 2019 - 2022 and now combines the special charm of a farmhouse with modern industrial style. Next to the terrace, courtyard and garden there is a barbecue station with a large new Rösle gas grill & the barn which can be used as a cozy lounge. The interior of the house combines timber-framed construction with modern iron, wood, sandstone, clay walls and old with new 🖤

Our vacation home in Burrweiler is located on the edge of the Palatinate Forest on the Southern Wine Route in the middle of the chestnut forest on the Teufelsberg, at an altitude of 355 m, below the St. Anna Chapel. On the 1250 m² fenced forest property there is a viewing area with a distant view of the Rhine plain, a patio made of old oak trunks and a picnic bench. The Worms water tower is considered one of the most beautiful water towers in Germany. On the first floor, it offers a luxurious small city apartment (approx. 80 m²), which surprises with original round arches and plenty of light (6 large windows). Couples will feel comfortable here. You can have a cultural, sporty and/or romantic vacation. But business travelers will also find the opportunity to work online in peace and relax in a spacious ambience in the evening.

The apartment is just minutes from the center with restaurants, cafes, wine bars, historic wineries, various shops. The vineyards start around the corner and all lead to the nearby hiking area “Pfälzer Wald” with its popular managed huts. In the tranquil Hainfeld on the popular German Wine Route is our winery built in 1738. Of course, the house has an authentic winery that invites you to linger outdoors. The lovingly and elaborately renovated house is a wonderful starting point to discover the vineyards in the immediate vicinity or the Palatinate Forest with its multitude of medieval castle ruins.
