From morning coffee on the porch to evenings by the water, every moment was peaceful and easy. A perfect getaway with beautiful views, great hospitality, and all the comforts you could ask for. Can’t wait to come back! Don't miss the bonus AC'd bathroom on the porch! We almost did.

This stay was an absolute gem! The location was incredibly peaceful, surrounded by nature and right next to the Ocala National Forest, making it perfect for a quiet retreat. The home itself was spotless, beautifully updated, and had the perfect blend of cabin charm with modern amenities. Everything was well-stocked, and the proximity to grocery stores (Winn-Dixie just 4 minutes away, Publix 15 minutes) made it super convenient. Waking up to the majestic sunrise was breathtaking, and the outdoor shower was a must-try—such a unique and refreshing experience! To top it all off, the host was very responsive and made sure everything was perfect. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to unwind in a serene and well-appointed space!

Monica's place is ALWAYS GREAT!!! This is our 3rd year renting her home and we absolutely love i t!!! She's an excellent host who goes the extra mile for her guests!!!! I would recommend her home to everyone to stay!! Lol lol just not on our week please lol lol ❤️❤️❤️

We had a beautiful weekend stay with trips to Silver Springs and lakes. Loved visiting J Birds Camp, just a paddle or walk away from the house, with a weekend of reggae music and delicious food trucks. Only downside of this stay is the furniture is not comfortable enough for a week long stay which is something I’d love in the future. Loved the Florida Cracker house and very well furnished with kayaks, canoes, etc.

This was our second time staying at The Acorn. The house was very clean and was stocked with everything we needed...toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, paper towels, coffee and tea supplies...so pleased that we didn't need to run to the store to get any of these items! Dan and Michelle are very quick to respond if we ever need anything. Had some issues with the internet and it was taken care of in a very timely manner. We love relaxing in the back yard and enjoying all of the wild life. The alligators won't bother you if you don't bother them! I absolutely recommend Dan and Michelle's beautifully decorated home to anyone who would like a relaxing, clean, and comfortable place to spend their vacation!

H&H Vacation rentals place was perfect. We stayed here once before and loved it so we came back. The house is really cool. Very clean, comfortable, and we had everything we needed and more. We definitely recommend staying at H&H Vacation rentals place.

Great apartment, beautifully decorated and great amenities. The location is spectacular; where else can you sit on your private terrace watching the roller coasters at Universal and the fireworks at Magic Kingdom!

Very nice historical home to stay in. Felt like I was stepping back into time in a very comfortable setting. It’s very close and convenient to all the happenings down in Mt Dora and surrounding areas. I would highly recommend staying at Peter and Lisa’s home.

We stayed here during spring break visit to Orlando with our kids. We’ve stayed at Vista Cay previously—about 10 years ago. The area around VC has changed with the buildout of Universal Epic. Most everything about the townhouse was great—clean, plenty of space for our family of 6, and on top floor so you won’t hear the neighbors upstairs for example. Awesome outside balcony sitting area as well. Our only complaint was that the main pool and clubhouse adjacent to the townhouse was still closed and the related construction detracted from the “clean feel” outside that we’ve experienced previously. Beyond owner’s control but did detract from our overall experience. The other pool is too far to walk to.

Our stay at this delightful and extremely comfortable home was made even more pleasurable by the presence of Suzanne and Jan. They made sure we didn't just stay in 5 Star accomodation, but they made us feel like 5 Star guest. Their attention to details was impressive, nothing was overlooked, it could not feel more like a home if it were our own home. We highly recommend this Mt Dora gem, will certainly be returning. Beautiful venue for my intimate wedding elopement. Alisha allowing me to take photos with the horses was a magical addition to my perfect big day. Lovely place to stay as always.

My stay was absolutely beautiful—peaceful, cozy, and everything I hoped for. The private lake was incredibly relaxing, perfect for unwinding and taking in nature. The cottage itself was amazing—well-kept, charming, and had such a welcoming, at-home feel. It was the perfect escape.

From when we got there to when we left, Jerome was nothing but kind and was incredibly responsive to anything we may need! Would recommend to anyone in the area!

We stayed here with 10 women on a lady retreat it was perfect - all the amenities you could need and more with the kayaks and St John’s River and many springs nearby. Would definitely stay again!

We loved staying at the Blue Bee Cottage. It was cozy and comfortable. Each room was detailed perfectly. The neighborhood is very quiet and the cottage is within walkable distance to town or on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays you can walk one block and use the Freebie ride. The cottage has a wonderful comfortable king size bed and the driveway was a plus to park our corvette. We definitely would stay again if we ever visit Mt. Dora again.

If you are wanting to visit Silver Springs Park for some gorgeous kayaking or biking in a National Forest, Nicole's home is conveniently located to both. Nicole's home still has that new home scent and is peaceful for relaxing after a busy day of kayaking and biking.

We had a wonderful and comfortable visit to the 1930s cottage in Mount Dora. Everything was as described. Our favorite part was the screened patio in the backyard where we started our days with coffee while watching the birds and our dog play in the fenced backyard. We hope to return for another visit!

I think our 4th or 5th stay at this location. We'll return. It's one of our Happy Places!!!
