Holiday rentals with lake access in Everett

This is a truly magical space. Our group of friends created forever memories over our annual weekend gathering this year. Words and pictures don’t do it justice. The chorus of the frogs from the cedar tub was fantastic. Thank Mathew!!

The place was exquisite, the host was accommodating allowing us for early check in. The surrounding was tranquil, my family was able to relax and be comfortable. It is overlooking the lake, walking distance to the park so we were able to visit the cherry blossoms and have our kids play in the playground. The hot tub was always hot for us and the water was clean. The place is huge, there was a steam bath in the basement, the kitchen had a huge stove and grill was readily available. I am picturing such nice summers in this place, with paddle boards and life jackets available as well. The garden was muddy because of the rain, but we were still able to enjoy the backyard with the cemented patio and the hot tubs. It was just perfect for our visit to Seattle. We did have trouble with street parking though, since the road was a bit small and the neighbors too were parking on both sides of the road, our rental car was scraped on the side mirror. So just heads up to find a better place to park

We had a lovely stay! The place was clean, cozy, and very quiet—perfect for a relaxing getaway. We especially enjoyed the great selection of board games, which made for some really fun family evenings. The private beach access was a huge bonus—peaceful, beautiful, and never crowded. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back again!

Nice house, extremely clean, has all of the amenities that I expect from an Airbnb like kitchen gear. It was lovely to fall asleep listening to the river.

Jennifer was extremely responsive and went out of her way to ensure a memorable stay! We visited for a family celebration and she allowed us to ship items to the home beforehand and ensured they were stored safely. After the first day, we noticed a few minor issues—a bathroom door was coming off the hinges and we couldn’t find the kayaks advertised. She promptly addressed both issues and more, dropping off a brand new set of kayaks, fixing the door and then replaced the coffee maker, which we didn’t mention, but she knew it wasn’t working and she swapped it out without asking. The home was wonderfully appointed with quality linens, high end appliances and surrounded by water with quick access to Fay Baybridge park with rocky beach access. I highly recommend!!!

Our family absolutely loves staying here! This was our second stay. The home is comfy and accommodating. The view, peacefulness, and privacy are unbeatable! It’s also such a fun area, with Port Gamble and Poulsbo being close by. There are also a number of hiking trails to explore. The host Tom, was so wonderful and accommodating.. this will be a regular spot for us… thank you!!! A++++++++++++++++++

I absolutely loved the place. We weren't blessed with great weather for our winter stay but it was cozy and wonderful anyway. when the sky did finally clear up for us the view was absolutely beautiful. I loved our stay and would absolutely stay here again.

Excellent stay, not too far from downtown.

This was a wonderful experience. I was in Seattle for a work training and I really felt at home. Lisa and Steve were so thoughtful and in the Airbnb I access to pots and pans, nice dishes, delicious snacks and really phenomenal coffee. The shower was my favorite. It was a glass shower with Aveda products. The bed was absolutely incredible - high quality sheets and great mattress. I can't wait to stay here again.

Alex's basement cottage was lovely. Beautifully furnished, clean, cozy, warm or cool as needed, full kitchen with all necessary appliances, utensils, full size fridge, dishwasher, etc. The bed & linens were very clean & comfortable. The yard around the main house was lovely & well cared for, with Spring flowers, shrubs & trees blooming all around. Alex's extra touches - like Easter treats! - were very much appreciated. The Cafe' Javasti just a few blocks away was great - amazing crepes & very good coffee! A sweet place & conveniently located near GreenLake Park, which is really worth a visit. There are many restaurants located at the part of the Park that is near Alex's place, but parking is a bit of an issue so if you are up for walking several blocks down & then back up again, that is the way to go. To see the Park & Lake itself, keep driving counter-clockwise around the lake & then park past The Boathouse Theater; it is less busy over there & very nice for many activities.

I came to Seattle for a yoga training and it was the perfect location and the view is absolutely beautiful!!

This place was perfect to visit our son who lives in the neighborhood. The unit is spacious, recently renovated - every room is functionally and elegantly furnished. The apartment was immaculate and has everything we needed for an extended weekend. Thomas is a friendly and responsive host

Quiet, comfortable stay in a very pleasant neighborhood with easy parking. It really felt like home, with a terrific kitchen, beautiful backyard view, tall ceilings and comfortable furniture. Will love returning when visiting again.

We visit Seattle often and like to find places to rent. This Green Lake neighborhood in the springtime is absolutely beautiful. Kathy's lawn and flower garden are just so well done and the birds who visit were a special treat. Walkable to the lake and downtown area was a plus. The beds were extremely comfortable and the apartment is charming. It was nice to meet the owner and know she was there if we needed anything.

This was a great place to get a little bit of down time for us. The kitchen had all the kitchenware and utensils we needed to create home cooked meals. The view was beautiful. Tim, the owner of the place whose contact info you finally get once you reserve, was very responsive to my questions. Evolve is kind of a door in and a door out, but the bulk of the interactions are with the owner who created this place with his wife. In the photos on the Airbnb site, the place looks like there is a lot of pink. The color in the photos is off. The main color was crimson which was much more palatable to our tastes. This place is tucked in on a private dirt road with lots of potholes, etc, but that makes it that much more separate from the rest of the world and a bit more isolated, although there are nice neighbors. A high clearance vehicle would make access a bit easier. This was a 7 min drive from the 2 places we needed to be. Easy to get turned around, so use GPS the first few times.

Good location, backs up to a busy street so there is lots of traffic noise, but easily walkable to green lake and clean.

Grace had previously planned a trip out of town for the interval I would be staying at her cottage, so I was unable to meet her in person. That turned out not to be a hindrance. She welcomed me graciously to the cottage via e-mail, and I responded via e-mail with a brief description of my travel plans from Los Angeles to Seattle and my pleasure to have use of her cottage for the stay in Seattle. I arrived after dark and sent a quick e-mail letting her know I had arrived. She had made the place tidy and inviting, and she had left an excellent summary providing complete details and directions necessary for learning the house operation - the information helpful in learning the house and its surrounding community. Her preparations added meaning to the term "Host." The cottage was as described and exactly met my needs. Her preparations and subsequent communications made it easy to feel at home almost immediately.

Would absolutely stay here again! The location is beautiful and the house is so cute. Staying here was a great experience.

A great place starts with a great host. Melanie is very thoughtful, considerate and super helpful. She made our stay enjoyable. A lot of AirBnBs are well kept but very few are like home. We stayed for more than a week and it was very hard for us to leave....we felt like we were at home. Every inch of the house has warm decor that makes you feel cozy and not overwhelmed. I would love to go back and stay at this house again. Kudos to Melanie for making our stay memorable.

The cottage was a great escape for my family visiting from California for Thanksgiving. It was cozy and inviting. All the amenities we could need, including toys for my niece and books to read. It's walkable to a small market that has pizza, and not a terribly long walk to Wallingford or North Capitol Hill and Volunteer Park. Electric scooters are often available making it a quick trip around the area. They also have a few chickens! My niece loved being able to go get a couple eggs for the morning. While there is a subtle background noise from the freeway, it wasn't obtrusive and easily forgotten about when having a TV show on or music playing. The entry can be a bit tricky to find at first, as the front door is facing the alley between Gwinn and Shelby. Just took us one extra pass to find it. No difficulty with street parking. I would definitely stay here again, and in fact, my niece wants to bring her friend next time. Thanks again for the great place to stay!
