Monthly Rentals in Fairfax

My father-in-law stayed here for a number of months while he was house hunting. The location is super convenient - just a minute's walk to shops and restaurants. He was delighted that the kitchen was fully stocked with pretty much every piece of equipment he could need and commented on how clean the place was (he's picky). A dedicated parking spot was a big bonus. The apartment was cozy and had heat as well as two window AC units (in LR and bedroom), which was critical during a couple of heat waves. He found the bed comfortable and the bedroom quiet enough since it faces away from downtown. (If you need complete quiet, this isn't the spot for you, but for being located so close to the main drag, it's not bad.) On the one occasion there was a glitch with the internet & TV, the host was extremely responsive and had someone come out within a couple of hours to get it fixed. She also gives you a direct line to the internet person and cleaning lady. Great service. Would recommend!

I had a wonderful stay! The space was beautifully nestled high up in the redwoods, offering a peaceful retreat just a short drive from town. Jen made the most of the small space, it was incredibly cozy and thoughtfully curated with every detail in mind. I especially appreciated the lovely selection of teas, coffee, and local honey. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene and welcoming getaway.

The place was great and in a perfect location. -- Large, private, quiet, clean. Nice bedroom & bathroom, comfortable bed, gas fireplace in living room space, lots of windows. Kitchen is small refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, Keurig and electric Kettle - perfect for us. -- Walkable to great restaurants, shops and Good Earth Market (like a half-size Whole Foods). -- Close to many day hiking areas, which was the purpose for our trip. -- Michael was very communicative and responds in seconds/minutes.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Fairfax casita. Manuelita is an amazing host - hospitable, helpful, generous and communicative. The casita was perfect for me: cozy, lots of light with big windows and sliding bay doors, comfortable bed, a great workspace and more. As a lover of nature, I was also thrilled with the location: a minute's walk (or bicycle ride) to fantastic trails, with more abounds in all directions, Fairfax being located on the northern side of Mt. Tam. I would highly recommend this rental and will definitely seek it out for my next stay in Marin.
