Where do I even start with Quinta Bohemia, the place is an absolute dream! What Ilse is doing here is beautiful and everyone should go and experience it and hopefully take away a piece of the ideology! There is lots to do within the grounds both for a single person, a couple or a family with children! The people you will encounter that work there are super friendly and do everything to make you feel at home! Also the options of yoga and massages on site I thought was a good touch! The property we stayed at was very homely and had everything you could need (even oils for cooking which is a great bonus), and you are surrounded by beautiful permaculture gardens that you can freely pick fruit, vegetables and herbs from which just makes the place that little bit more special! All in all I would highly recommend

We stayed there for 6 nights and are thrilled. The apartment was very clean and everything was thought of. You can park right in front of the house and the pool is right next to it. You have your peace and quiet here and can relax perfectly after a trip. You get a visit from cats from time to time, but they are very sweet and obedient. We would definitely come back:)

We were looking for peace and quiet and we found it, away from all hustle and bustle to disconnect, beaches and leisure 20 minutes away by car. Everything is correct in the accommodation, good communication with Lopes, we will repeat a greeting and thank you

My group stayed in this beautiful villa for 3 days and couldn’t be happier with the space. It’s close to a beautiful local beach & not far from Old Lagos. The views were incredible, didn’t expect to sea the ocean from the villa! it’s a quiet area so definetly need to watch volume of music etc. The pool was such a nice touch after a long day in the sun. Only thing missing was some laundry detergent to do a wash but every other amenity was as listed. We had such a lovely time and LOVE LAGOS! Muito obrigado Fabiana!

This is one of the best locations and Airbnb’s we have stayed in and we travel quite a bit. Monchique itself is full of magic and charm but the chalet in January was spotless, warm and welcoming. There’s blankets everywhere, table to dine outside, game room for family, tangerine and orange trees in the bank, walking path right by the house, nature, ample beds and rooms, places to read, nap, drink coffee or orange juice squeezed from the yard etc. Our family of 4 including 2 kids loved it. They played pool, watched movies, went on a family hike, saw water falls, picked wild flowers, ate extremely well etc. We loved all the restaurant recommendations. Even drive the 25 mins to Portimao and Lagos on another day. We will definitely be back in the summer months. Thank you!

This is a fantastic place to stay with a superb hostess! It is quirky, spiritual and offers peace and quiet to those that need tranquility. An ideal retreat with stunning mountain views of Monchique. Off the beaten track and a little tricky to find but easy access to beaches, local town of Luz or Lagos should you need. The perfect place! A huge thank you to Ana who really does go out of her way to help you in whatever you need.

We stayed at the Villa Sagres with our family (2 adults, 3 kids 8,9 and 5 yrs old) and had a really great time during our 5 nights stay. The kids loved the swimming pool, which gave us parents some time to relax. A supermarket in just walking distance to get fresh bakery in the morning was perfect to feed the needs of all our little ones (and ours of course). The Sagres area is a really nice area with beautiful beaches close by ( you do need a car though). Isabel was always helpful and addressed any of our questions promptly. So thanks for the wonderful time we had!
