The entrance is up a spiral staircase that leads to an upper porch/verandah which is well appointed with hammock and comfortable outdoor furniture. It has a spacious tree house feel. The house is set way back from the road in the historic district giving it a private secluded feel, yet downtown. The apartment is completely closed off to the rest of the house and has seperate entrance, kitchen, bathroom etc.
