Newly refurbished for the 2024 season, self-catering gîte for two in rural France, offering a double bedroom, en-suite walk-in shower room, open plan living with log fire and two private patio areas. It's a wonderful situation at the head of the beautiful Gatine valley. Ideal any season for walking, cycling or simply taking time out. In the winter months you’ll be cozy with the log burner - and there are heaters if you need extra warmth in a cold snap - just ask, we’re always nearby to help.

Our cottage has been sympathetically renovated and is a uniquely individual space retaining a wealth of originality, blended perfectly with a contemporary feel. We can welcome 6, with two double bedrooms and a large double sofa-bed in the galleried landing area. A spacious living area leads to a quiet outdoor patio with rural views. The grounds the cottage are located in are surrounded by a large moat which contains unprotected deep water. Unsuitable for young unsupervised children.

Quiet, between Gâtine and Bocage Bressuirais, we offer the cozy and charming Cabane Escale Mirador. Change of scenery guaranteed in the heart of nature. Ideally located for sightseeing trips: 1 hour from Puy du Fou and Futuroscope, 45 minutes from the Poitevin marsh, and 1.5 hours from the Charente and Vendée coasts. Horseback riding. Duvet with cover not provided, possible for an extra charge of €20. Towels not provided. No smoking in the tree house.

Parthenay our "little Carcassonne", pretty medieval town, but also its Game Festival in July, great cavalcade for the weekend of Pentecost, a long greenway for hiking or cycling. My garden and terrace are at your disposal, pets on site 2 cats and a dog.

Puy du Fou (45 min), Futuroscope (1 hour) Pescalis (20 min), Marais Poitevin (1 hour) and La Rochelle (1hr30), Parthenay for FLIP festival (20 mins) golfing in nearby Bressuire (15min) along with many other sights within the golden triangle of the region, an ideal base to come and relax after a days adventures. I am located 1 hour from Puy du Fou, 1 hour from Futuroscope and 1 hour from the marshes in the middle of the 3 emblematic sites that surround my farm.
