Built over 200 years ago on the banks of the Vezere river, this traditional stone gite is set in a beautiful parkland garden which it shares with another gite. Whilst it's tranquil location is perfect for ensuring a relaxing holiday, it is close to all the main attractions offered in both the Vezere and Dordogne valleys, and surrounding areas.

Ideally situated on the bank of the River Vézere in the pre-historic area known as the 'Vallée de L'Homme' between the fascinating town of Les Eyzies and market town of Le Bugue. To explore the area we offer FREE use of mountain bikes and a kayak*, there is direct access to the river and a 12km cycle path. A beautiful 30 m2 studio totally independent of the neighboring property. With a pool shared with the owner. The studio has a fully equipped kitchen area, dining and living area, and a nice sleeping area with a 160 cm bed. The bathroom is equipped with a toilet, sink and walk-in shower. The private terrace overlooks unobstructed countryside views. The owner's house is adjacent but she remains very discreet or even absent.

Our little corner of "paradise" is located in the heart of the Barade forest: this place is protected, natural and wild. In this green setting, you will find peace and quiet. Our 2-person studio (possibly 1 baby bed can be added) enjoys a quiet and protected environment and a location that preserves privacy. Our guests share (with 2 other cottages) a large swimming pool with stunning views of the troglodyte cliffs.
