Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Floyd County

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful mountain house. The views are amazing, and Berit did a great job giving very clear instructions on how to navigate the mountain on the way up. She made sure ahead of time that we had vehicles suitable for the drive which was very appreciated. She checked in with us throughout the weekend just to make sure there was nothing we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of towels/blankets available, and overall was just a wonderful stay. There is a winery, Chateau Morrisette, which was only about 15 minutes away that was really fun to visit, and Floyd is a very cute, friendly town. I would definitely stay here again. This place was amazing. House on a hill with vistas 360. Ezekiel could not have been more thoughtful when preparing the house. Completely stacked kitchen and not with cheap stuff- it was all high quality. Beds, furniture bathrooms were expertly done. My family had a wonderful time and getting to know Ezekiel was blessing to us. Wonderful host who truly cares. Pro tip- you are out there- bring what you need. Nothing is close and its totally worth it.

So happy to stay in this beautiful family home. Very comfortable and we all appreciated the original furnishings and welcoming vibe similar to our own childhood remembrances. Kitchen is very nice and easy to work around with other ppl. The sun room is amazing! Definitely a benefit for everyone to enjoy during any weather. The bedrooms/beds are comfortable and we liked the door between them and living/kitchen areas for early risers or night owls so sleepers could rest easy. Clear entry instructions & good parking for separate arrivals/departures. Host is super responsive and really appreciated being able to enjoy time there without worry. Definitely a fave now.

Dave and Amy have created a tremendous getaway at the solitudes. We plan on returning regularly, if possible. Our stay put Radford on a list of places to retire we loved it so much!

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful farm in Floyd. The nature, the quietness, and the cleanliness made it perfect. The WIFI speed was unbeatable ! The hosts were very kind, and everything we needed was provided. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay. House was very clean with easy access and was within walking distance to the main part of town. Had a very nice yard as well. Bedrooms were well done with very comfortable beds. Great shower with excellent water pressure. Really, no complaints. Will definitely look to stay here again when we return to the area. Floyd is a wonderful small town. The area is very nice, and the small shops in Floyd are fantastic. Norma is an awesome host!

We had a great experience staying at Susan’s house. The house was very clean and well-maintained. Susan was very helpful and courteous allowing us 2 hours grace rime for checkout. The neighborhood was quiet, safe and convenient. Overall, we'd recommend and return in my next trip to Virginia.

Nice, quiet location. Easy walk to downtown and the Floyd Country Store. Apartment had everything we needed in the bathroom and kitchen. Even spare toothbrushes and toothpaste! Would definitely stay here again.

Clean and spacious, very close to downtown floyd

We stayed at River Run Loft for three very peaceful nights. I had stayed with Chrys several years ago as a solo guest and have been trying to return only to be disappointed that the dates were booked. Chrys is an outstanding host, welcoming and outgoing. The balcony overlooking fields and the Little River were very nice and a great spot to enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine. We look forward to staying with Chrys net year when we make our way up the Blue Ridge Parkway.

The mill was a perfect place for us. We love history and the setting was beautiful. For such an old structure we found it to be warm,cozy, beautiful and very comfortable. The floor to ceiling windows were wonderful. We enjoyed taking our E bikes out even at 43*! Very scenic and little to no traffic on the road. Such a gem! Many thanks to the hosts for creating a lovely getaway and sharing it with the rest of us!

This apartment is ideally located in Floyd, easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants. The bed was quite comfortable and the little kitchenette had a microwave, fridge, coffee maker, and toaster oven. Easy off-street parking was a bonus!

The property was very clean and we were provided with great coffee from a local coffee shop. Located right downtown, there are many shops and restaurants within walking distance. The Blue Ridge Parkway is a few miles away and a beautiful drive. We slept well since the property was very quiet overnight and the bed was extremely comfortable. The property owners responded very quickly to answer any questions during the reservation process. We would definitely stay here again or recommend it to our family and friends.

We loved staying at Patty's place! We had never been to the area and it was great to find such a gem in the country. Patty's place is clean and well-laid out with many thoughtful touches. It is not a big space, but very comfortable and functional, and the surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. We were only there for one night, but wanted to stay longer. My son enjoyed meeting the donkeys! Patty let us know upon booking that she was not going to be there and to expect her friend to meet us, and her friend was welcoming and friendly. Patty did check in often and was a very responsive host. We would definitely stay again at Patty's place if in the area. Thanks for a great stay!
