Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Forest of Fontainebleau

We (family of five) had a wonderful week in Blandy at July's house. July's parents met us on arrival and although our French is very poor they were very helpful and introduced us to the house. Through the week July was always quick to respond and kind in helping us with any questions. The house is a lovely home, beautifully designed and with lots for all the family to do. Our children particularly enjoyed using the bicycles, playing pool and relaxing in the hammocks and garden. Blandy is a very quiet and pretty village and we had a fantastic meal eating at the restaurant L'entourloupe adjacent to the tower. There is also a great takeaway pizzeria in the village, a small shop, another restaurant and a boulangerie. We found lots to do in the area including a day in Paris using the fast train from Melun (free parking at the municipal swimming pool), a day at Fontainebleu, and a picnic down at the banks of the Seine. We would happily recommend July's home to others.

Nous avons été agréablement accueillis par Anna. Le logement était propre fonctionnel et accessible dans un quartier paisible. Nous avons été satisfais de notre séjour.

Very cozy and special cabin with all you need! I felt right at home, and it goes without saying that it is nicely located for climbing. Unfortunately I had to leave early for personal reasons, hope to be back soon!

Excellent séjour à Barbizon chez nos hôtes Benoît et Imane. La petite maison est en pleine nature, baignée de lumière, le jardin est paisible, nos deux enfants ont adoré y jouer. Tout est accessible à pied, restaurants, commerces et randonnées en forêt. Nos hôtes étaient très amicaux et sympathiques, nous avons beaucoup aimé le village de Barbizon, à refaire!

Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux dans cette maison ! L’espace extérieur avec le jardin était idéal pour se détendre, et les enfants se sont régalés dans la salle de jeux. Le barbecue était un vrai plus pour nos soirées en famille. La maison est spacieuse, bien équipée et parfaitement adaptée à un séjour en famille. L’hôte était très accueillante et a pris soin de nous fournir toutes les informations nécessaires pour profiter pleinement de notre séjour. Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit pour des vacances en toute sérénité !

Nous avons passé un séjour en famille très tranquille dans cette grande maison, principalement au coin du feu dans la très agréable pièce de vie. C'est un peu comme se retrouver dans la maison de campagne d'amis : ne pas s'attendre à un logement exclusivement pensé pour la location.

We had such a wonderful time here. There was five adults and two kids, still plenty of space. Nathalie was a wonderful and helpful person who made our stay even more enjoyable. They treated us to some delicious food on arrival, I could live off artisan meat and cheese. Will definitely be coming back!!

Nous sommes venus pour un EVG, et nous avons été impressionnés par ce logement. On en prend plein les yeux dès qu'on a franchi le pas de la porte. Nombreuses activités à faire  : borne d'arcade, console, mur d'escalade, fléchettes, jacuzzi, décorations faites avec goût, magnifique fresque dans le séjour… Tout était parfait et très propre, on aurait pu y rester 1 mois sans jamais mettre le nez dehors. Le plus beau Airbnb que j'ai fait. Je recommande et j'y retournerai très probablement. Un grand bravo au propriétaire pour le travail titanesque réalisé ici.

Appartement très agréable et bien situé dans le centre de Fontainebleau. Petites attentions à l'arrivée ! Livres et jeux pour enfants à disposition. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir. Merci à Pauline pour sa réactivité

Appartement tres calme et propre , quartier avec beaucoup de places de parking . L appartement meriterait quelques meubles en plus et un petit peu de deco

L’appartement est très agréable, fonctionnel et au calme. Les instructions étaient très claires nous n’avons eu aucun problème pour y accéder. La place de parking en sous-sol est vraiment un plus ! Et nous nous sommes déplacées facilement en transports en commun avec la gare qui se trouve à 5-10 min à pied. Hôte réactive et très sympathique. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, encore merci !

Jean Paul's apartment was a great find! It was very easy to find, park the car, and get inside. Jean Paul came to greet us shortly after we arrived, and he was very helpful! The apartment is spotlessly clean and had plenty of space for the whole family. We wish we'd had a longer stay here. We will visit again next time we're in the Paris area!

Séjour professionnel. Le gite etait propre. L'environnement est calme. Audrey est facikement accessible.

Lovely bright and airy flat in easy walking distance of shops, restaurants and the market place - great location! Two large bedrooms, each with a double and a single bed. Comfortable lounge / diner with enough comfortable seating for our party of 4. Small kitchen but adequate for cooking and had plenty of pans, utensils etc. Up two flights of stairs so not suitable for those with mobility issues. We had a lovely stay and would love to come back one day!

A spacious apartment in a fairly peaceful area. It was very nice to hear birds chirping in the morning :) The other occupants of the building were polite and quiet. A short walk to the Le Guichet train station and a 40-min journey to the center of Paris. Could have been a little cleaner but nothing major. Kathalyn and Romuald were helpful and quick to respond. A short walk to the edge of Orsay which has everything you could need. I highly recommend the Paris Panem bakery in town which has amazing pastries. A minor aside unrelated to the apartment -- I would not recommend the closest Franprix grocery store near the Domino's Pizza as some employees intentionally try to scam you by scanning certain items twice (check the Google reviews!). This is no reflection on the apartment, but I want to let my fellow travelers know!

Notre séjour dans l’appartement de Guitho a été absolument parfait ! L’emplacement est idéal, en plein centre-ville, avec un accès facile aux transports en commun, au centre commercial « le Spot » et aux restaurants. L’appartement est spacieux, lumineux, impeccablement propre et très bien équipé. Un grand merci à Guitho, qui a été d’une grande gentillesse disponible tout au long de notre séjour. Le check-in s’est fait très facilement grâce à des instructions claires et détaillées. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Appartement très bien situé, 10mn à pied de la gare RER, 10mn en voiture du centre de formation FMSD, commerces à proximité, parking privé et fermé, l’appartement est conforme aux photos, bien équipé, juste quelques éléments qui ont du vécu… les hôtes sont sympathiques et réactifs.

De retour Encore là-bas, comme dans les photos elle est toujours disponible, toute es à proximité rien à dire, je vous le conseille 🔥🔥🔥

Un sejour de plus dans l appartement d'Ornella qui est toujours aussi propre, aussi fonctionnel. Tres facile d accès et des instructions tres claires. Je reviendrais
