We had a wonderful family stay at the property. A beautiful peaceful setting. We loved the wood burning hot hub and the pizza oven. Gym was great, and games/family chill room was perfect for kids to have their own space seperate from the main living/dining area inside. Jack and Richard on hand and very responsive. Richard even popped over right away with fire lighters on night one when the previous guests had left an empty box which was very helpful.

Great welcome. Celine and Raphaël are great and caring and good advice. The accommodation is located halfway between Mont St Michel and Saint Malo. The place is decorated with very good taste. The estate is really GREAT and beautiful. If you want to take your half to a quiet, charming and serene area, go there without a second thought. The hot tub is great after a long day walking. I recommend it 1000%.

Cosy and cozy cottage in the virois bocage, very quiet and very well equipped. Loved it and enjoyed the spacious relaxing and leisure greenhouse, perfect for a weekend in Normandy weather! Mark and Caroline, thanks again! We will definitely be back, in the meantime, we would recommend it without hesitation.

Perfect stay! The hosts were friendly, smiling and particularly attentive (coffee capsules, free bottles of water every day). The breakfasts were hearty and varied. Living space was as expected. Nothing to say but thank you again!

very nice cottage, welcoming, clean, well decorated, cozy. 30 min walk to Mont St-Michel, good cakes to taste, good bakery, local products walking access. We were 2 adults and 1 children, everything was perfect, Viviane welcomed us herself with small gifts, very responsive, very friendly with lots of good tips for visits. to recommend.

Thanks for the stay, thanks for your availability. Super nice accommodation, ideal for relaxing in a quiet place and hiking. Mont St Michel is 1 hour 20 minutes by car. Small touches on arrival were very much appreciated.

We had such an amazing week at Julie's Gite. As everyone said, Julie is such a super host and she was always trying to ensure everything was as we wanted and expected. She knows so many things around the area and helped us to book an activity and recommended places to visit. We were with our 2 kids and grandparents. They all had a lovely time at the games room and in the pool and the massive trampoline!! ( The kids loved jumping up and down all day.) The rooms were so clean!(I am picky about cleanliness but this Gite had no dust, not even under the beds!) Probably, this place is the cleanest Airbnb I have ever stayed at. The kitchen had everything we needed and Julie asked us if we needed more pans, plates etc etc. The nearest supermarket has got everything you need . (fresh fish counter, meat counter as well). We had a day trip to Mont Saint Michelle , Laval, kayaking in Gorron. Our favorite bakery was Boulangerie Chérel at Gorron.Thank you Julie for all of your hospitality.

Very good stay. Prior to having the owners who are staying a house next door Had 14 people in the next gite (including 6 children) for Halloween but we didn't hear them. Dissociated parking so perfect. Great fireplace (€10 for the 1/8 of steer already provided on arrival) with a wood burning stove that works very well Great attention to the breakfast. A fresh baguette would be a plus (not sure if this is possible given the area) but it was already the milk breads.

We had a pleasant, quiet stay with well-decorated accommodation for the end-of-year celebrations. It was really the little extra touch. Debbie is very welcoming and really available and makes sure everything goes smoothly when you come. Discreet hosts but who respond if necessary. There was a toy box upstairs that made my little boy happy! Thank you

Gauthiers place was easy to find using Google maps. It has good parking for an SUV type car and is generously dimensioned. Very clean with all facilities and easy to enter with on line instructions. This place exceeded our expectations in so many ways that there are likely an insufficient number of characters to capture it. Sandra’s home and the surrounding area were more than welcoming. Having the ability to see Mont St Michel from the property during different times of day and weather conditions was amazing. There are lush fields to gaze over. We were fortunate enough to experience a sheep parade, not once but twice as they traveled down the narrow town road to pasture. The restaurant, literally a stone’s throw away, had food that was unbelievably good (as was the cider) and we easily could have eaten there every day. We saw goats on the walking trail that looks to loop around a significant radius, all with a view of Mont St Michel. The home was quaint and comfortable. Sandra was a joy to work with. We literally couldn’t ask for anything more. As I said, there are insufficient characters and you probably have better things to do (such as booking this place) than read any mor

We recommend Marion and Frederik's house without a second thought. A crazy charm! only 15-20 minutes from the Mont car parks, and well placed to discover the surroundings such as Cancale, St Malo ... Supermarket in Pontorson 5-10 minutes by car and good recommendations and addresses offered by Marion and Frederik. The view of the horses in the morning delighted the kids. Thank you ☺️

We had a wonderful time. Everything was there: the setting is splendid, the accommodation is very well equipped, tastefully furnished, full of small touches (welcome book, brochures about the surroundings, etc.). The accommodation is very suitable with children: between the large garden with swing, the baby equipment provided in the accommodation or the games provided, that's great! We will come back, that is for sure.

A huge congratulations and thank you Isabelle and Tony! We came with our family to discover the region, visit Mont St Michel, its Normandy surroundings and discover Brittany nearby. Hortense's house is superb, tastefully arranged, very clean and with a very well equipped kitchen and a spotless bathroom. The living room is ultra pleasant and bright, with a very soothing rural view with in the distance the Mont which is distinguished by good weather and the three bedrooms on the ground floor are very pretty with very good bedding. Communication with Isabelle was immediately very warm, both accurate and simple, with valuable recommendations to make our stay ultra enjoyable. Go for it, you won't be disappointed and you'll have a great and refreshing holiday!

Very pleasant stay in a beautiful, well-equipped and functional accommodation. Mont Saint Michel is a 2h20 walk without difficulty. And the environment of the bay very close to the accommodation contributes to the calm and rapprochement with nature during the stay.

We had the most amazing stay - the hosts were friendly and helpful and accommodating. The pictures don’t do the house justice, it’s huge and stunning and very clean. We had everything we needed and hope to return.

Where to start with this review.. this is hands down the best air bnb we’ve ever found and i’m so glad we came across it. The photos don’t do it justice, it’s absolutely stunning. Our dogs loved the garden which was fully enclosed. The interior had great attention to detail, the kitchen was amazing to cook in and we really felt so at home here. Location wise it was within perfect distance from everywhere we wanted to visit (Granville, St Malo, Mont Saint-Michel) and had fab amenities within 10-15 minutes. The closest bakery was a 3 minute car ride. One of our highlights were the neighbours who we feel deserve a special shout out - Lesley and Rene went above and beyond to help us whenever we needed it. They also gave us some great recommendations for dog walks, beaches and local markets. We’d of been lost without them, so thank you Lesley and Rene. Don’t think twice about booking this place!
