Holiday rentals in Franconia

The house was great for our holiday get together. It's in a great location for Southern Maryland. It was also fun to see the animals hosted there.

Margie was great. She introduced herself to my son and I right when we got there. The accommodations were excellent. Beds were super comfy and everything was very clean. House sits right on a small lake in a very nice neighborhood.

Our crew of seven (+ 2 dogs) loved our time here! This was an experiment of sorts to go somewhere slightly remote with no major travel plans to spend quality time together and see how we could entertain ourselves. For our family and kids' ages (10-15), 3 days would have been perfect, but 4 was probably a little much. We were about fifteen minutes from the nearest retail area, but it included everything we could have ever needed. The little park at the front of the neighborhood was expansive and clean; we walked through the mining camp museum then played family wiffle ball + soccer on the football field before the kids did sand volleyball (my husband and I opted out of the sand lol). We loved we could bring our dogs without having to worry about any cat dander (several of us are allergic). The stairs were too steep for the dogs, so they were naturally contained to the middle floor. Only heads-up is that there were carpenter bees - not harmful, but definitely freaked the kids out.

We loved our stay. It was spotless, safe, and so comfortable. It was just beautiful. I enjoyed sitting on the patio at night with my kindle and a glass of wine. It is also super convenient to our children and grandchildren. We definitely plan to stay here in the future.

Most of the time I travel with just my family but sometimes we get to travel with our labor team also. Angel and Ryan offer great accommodations for all of us. Safe relaxing, spacious and great water pressure!!! We needed extra blanket because it was colder for April the night we were there and Ryan went out of his way to make it work for us. Our team was a mix of needs and they had something for all of us. They care for their house a little extra because it has a few live thriving plants what a great way to provide the true home feeling we so appreciate after hard work and long travels. The neighbor is great ! To accommodate all my teams needs I slept on the daybed and it was actually comfortable. All slept well. Thank you much Definitely worth the short drive out of DC.

Definitely one of the best Air BNBs we have stayed at! Great location, clean & tidy, perfect for a family with little kids!

Great location, everything clean, Mark is incredibly responsive, and he clearly pays a lot of attention to keeping the apartment stocked with everything a guest needs. For example, when we used the stove top, there was a great selection of pans, there was a potholder right there, all the cooking utensils we needed, dish soap, a drying rack, etc. It may seem like a little thing, but it’s representative of the entire apartment. If there’s something you need and hope is there, it’s there. Great stay.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay! The place was beautiful—clean, and incredibly comfortable. The host went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and at home, making sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-hosted getaway!

Very fun place! Perhaps somewhat new so some kinks being worked out, but the host is incredibly responsive to any requests and has invested heavily in the property - luxury fixtures, appliances, amenities. Highly recommend.
