Our cozy 25 m² holiday home with garden and barbecue area is surrounded by nature, directly on the Saale and on the Saale bike path in the vineyards of the spa town of Bad Kösen in the Burgenland district. From here you can quickly reach interesting excursion destinations such as Naumburg Cathedral, our numerous castles or Pforta Monastery, as well as historical places and larger cities such as Jena, Leipzig or Weimar. Here you can relax, enjoy your vacation and recover from everyday life.

Relax at this peaceful place to stay. The small apartment offers a bed room with a small double bed, fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower and washing maschine. The apartment is located along on the street.Its also located in the city centre, close to the river.Its 5 minutes walking distance to the train station.Leipzig is only 30 min. away. The Saale bike path is opposite the road. We offer free parking space on the secured yard and a bicycle stand.

If you are looking for peace and relaxation, then you are in the right place with us in the countryside. You live on the second floor, can feed yourself. The apartment can be rented in combination with another room for 2 people (ask me about it so I can unlock it). The accommodation is located on a farm. Cats and chickens live on the farm. The surrounding area invites you to hike, cycle and drink wine. Various sights can be explored within a radius of 10 km.

City Escape - Surrounded by Vineyards

Within walking distance of the Landesweingut Pforta is the green oasis with 1000m² country garden - directly on the bike path surrounded by vineyards. The fully developed construction trailer, the separate bathhouse and the spacious terrace offer especially families and larger groups a good combination of togetherness & activity. Since it is a property in nature, everything is never perfect or completely finished - but everything built and laid out with love.

House Albanus in Schweigenberg

In the middle of vineyards lies the Albanus house at the foot of the Schweigenberg, a southern slope in the Saale/ Unstrut. It was built in 1906 from a simple one that had existed since 1804 vineyard house to a so-called "Swiss house" with large slate roof and pergola. The special feature is the view in all directions of the Cultural landscape of the Unstrut Valley: to Neuenburg Castle, to the Unstrut, to the Zscheiplitz Monastery or across the fields.

The apartment (58 m²) is centrally located and is on the 2nd floor of a listed house. It consists of a bedroom, a separate living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. A small roof terrace is accessible to sporty guests via the bathroom window. The apartment is individually, stylishly and functionally furnished. Bikes can be stored if needed. Naumburg Cathedral and the market square are about 5 minutes' walk away.

Looking from the bathtub into the treetops or rather leafing through Humboldt's graphic work?
