In our thatched holiday cottage, you will have the place all to yourself – in the middle of a little North Frisian paradise on the Schnurrum holiday farm. Outside, the Wadden Sea, dykes and endless expanses await, and inside, a lovingly furnished home with plenty of cosiness and comfort. A place to switch off and take a deep breath – perfect for long walks, moments by the mudflats and quiet evenings in your own little retreat.

Stay in the heart of Møgeltønder near Schackenborg Castle

Detached house with private entrance. Located in the heart of Møgeltønder, within walking distance of Schackenborg Castle and Slotsgaden. Decorated in retro style. Located on the marsh trail. Includes entrance, 2 cozy living rooms, a suite, retro kitchen with oven, stove, refrigerator and dishwasher, bathroom with shower, 2 bedrooms with double beds - one is with elevation. One bedroom is a walk-through bedroom. Back entrance with washing machine. Included in the price is final cleaning, as well as towels and bed linen.

You will be staying close to the Wadden Sea, which is on UNESCO's World Heritage List. Højer is worth a visit with the beautiful old houses and the small streets with sights such as Højer mill, Højer sluse, arts and crafts. The home: Ground floor contains a small kitchen, hallway with stairs to 1st floor, bathroom with shower, 1 bedroom with double bed, dining room, and TV room. TV with the option to cast. 1st floor, small toilet, two bedrooms with double beds. You bring your own bed linen and towels.

Beautiful View

Here you can relax and start excursions to the surrounding area. The house is situated in an idyllic location on the marsh hiking trail. The apartment is located in a half of the house that is separately accessible for guests. It offers a lounge area, a reading corner, a kitchen, 3 double rooms and 3 bathrooms. The hosts live in the other half of the house. In the guest garden you can relax or let off steam on the trampoline. An additional room in the passage area has been added.

Halmhuset - The Straw House

Our thatched house is probably the only "Halmhuset" that is rented as a vacation home in Denmark. It is breathable, made of clay and straw, and is sustainably supplied by heat pump and photovoltaics. In summer, the thick walls provide pleasant coolness, in winter it is cozy and warm, with a room height of up to 4 meters. A real feel-good place for up to 8 people, located at the gates of the city of Tønder, close to the Wadden Sea National Park and the islands of Sylt and Rømø.

Cozy thatched cottage in a quiet location close to the North Sea. Fully equipped and on a large property. You will occupy the house alone and the garden is also available for your exclusive use. From Humptrup, the North Sea is about 20 km away! The ideal starting point for day trips to the North Frisian islands and Halligen (e.g. Sylt, Föhr, Amrum, Hooge, Oland, Hamburger Hallig). The Nolde Museum is in the immediate vicinity and Denmark is only 3 km away.

You will stay on a residual farm, 6 kilometers from Dagebüll, the gateway to the islands of Föhr/Amrum. The Wadden Sea is 500 m away. Around you is a Highland breed, tomcat/cat, Estragon our show horse, Ella our mare, sheep, lambs, peace or Action! All 4 seasons have their charm. In autumn/winter, when the wind blows around your ears, there is tea punch here, in spring lambs, in summer the harvest! It's not far to Denmark. Römö can be reached in 50 minutes.

Plenty of room

Large and spacious country property overlooking Frøslev plantation. This invites you to lovely walks or a ride on the bike - both can be varied in great style in the huge scenic area. The living room also offers great opportunities with its approx. 250 m2 with 3 bedrooms on the 1st floor. There is a bathroom and guest toilet on the ground floor. Located in the border country, there is ample opportunity to dive into history or take a trip to Flensburg.

Experience pure deceleration in our idyllic thatched roof house. Situated on an old wharf with an open view, it offers the perfect starting point for excursions to Sylt, Föhr or neighboring Denmark. Enjoy the time at the small pond with jetty, which perfectly invites you to unwind. Whether alone or with the family, here you will find space for valuable moments of relaxation. If you want to experience authentic Danish coziness, here is a unique opportunity. This is the original farmhouse for Kirkeskovgaard. The house was completely renovated in 2020. The home is located in scenic surroundings with direct views of several lakes, meadows and grazing Icelandic horses as well as a completely unique wildlife.
