Family-friendly holiday rentals in Fripp Island

Stay as described and all the extra things as well like beach wagon etc. We loved our stay and the condo. Thank you.

We came down for a wedding and the central location on the island was great. Kitchen was big and fully equipped. Beds were comfy. I was disappointed we had to rent beach chairs. $29 a day for 2 with an umbrella. And we needed 6. Bikes are a great thing to have and they also need to be rented. The 4th br with 2 doubles has to use a bathroom in one of the other bedrooms for showers. Otherwise they can walk downstairs to the powder room toilet. We all agreed the house worked out really well.

We had an incredible vacation! Cindy’s condo was in the perfect location at the resort, quiet corner, close to the outdoor pool, close to parking, and most importantly close to the boardwalk to the beach! The condo was clean, had everything we needed. The resort was perfect, with a bar, indoor and outdoor pools with long hours. We LOVED going to the beach and having access to the beach locker which included a wagon, sand toys, umbrella, and chair was perfect! Can’t wait to come back!

Gloria allowed us to get in early which was extremely helpful in letting us start our vacation off. The condo was the perfect size and exactly what we needed for our three night stay. Coligny Plaza was a close walk and an easy drive to some amazing restaurants.

Scott’s place was 5 star in our books! Exactly how it’s advertised is what you get once you arrive. Scott is very quick to respond with any questions, he provides a great deal of information regarding restaurants, grocery stores and other things to do. The cable TV was a BIGTIME bonus for us since we really enjoyed watching the NBA, NHL playoffs and the NFL draft. The beautiful beach is a very close walk and Scott even provides beach chairs, towels and boogie boards that my son and I used. The washer and dryer is also awesome to have while away from home. Scott’s place was very clean and everything you needed to cook delicious meals was provided. Lots of excellent seafood (shrimp, scallops, grouper, red snapper etc) was sold close to Scott’s place at excellent prices. We also were able to use bikes and had some fantastic bike rides on the beautiful bike paths on Hilton Head. I would highly recommend staying at Scott’s place. James showed compassion during my time of need. I visited South Carolina to attend my brother’s funeral. The location was affordable for my stay there as well as a perfect location. James was very attentive, he also responded right away. I do recommend this location to anyone. I was able to visit the beach before I departed from the location (beach was in walking distance). James made sure he turned a bad situation into a positive situation with hosting a perfect location. I Highly recommend for anyone that chooses to stay here. Thanks James again.

We stayed here for Spring Break with our 3 kids (12/10/6). My daughter enjoyed morning walks on the boardwalk to the beach with her dad. Location was close to shopping, dining and groceries. The staff at the resort were all friendly, welcoming and helpful. It was a bit chilly so having an indoor pool was a great perk. Teresa was very prompt with responding and helpful. We would consider staying here again in the future.

Location was great! We brought our own bikes to ride the Spanish Moss Trail with our kids. There was a trail head a few blocks away. We even rode bikes into town one day. Beds were very comfortable. Everyone slept well. Open floor plan was great. Kids could watch a show while parents made a meal. Susanna proactively reached out and provided directions and recommendations for activities and restaurants right before the trip. We had no need to reach out during our stay. We had a great time at the Chapel and highly recommend it!

My family really enjoyed our stay. The size was perfect for me, my wife and 2 adult children. The location was easily accessible to the beach and walking paths. The kitchen was fully stocked and made it easy to cook meals rather than go out to eat every night. We really enjoyed our stay, wish the weather was better though, it rained almost every day.

Amazing location! House was a described. Beautiful town with lots of charm, restaurants, and shops in walking distance. Had one issue while we were there and Kevin was prompt to send someone to fix the issue. Would love to stay again someday.

We have been coming to HH for years and this is our new favorite place. Marina has thought of literally everything for her house. She has more towels, pillows, linens, and kitchen supplies than any other place we've stayed. And don't worry about packing up anything for the beach, she has all the beach gear and awesome wagon for easy transport as well. The house was spotless and our dogs loved the fenced in backyard area. I appreciated that the coffee maker was both a dual carafe and single K-cup style machine. It's an easy walk to the beach and there is plenty of entertainment to be had in the house as well. Again, I cannot stress enough how well stocked the place is. We are used to always having to bring extra towels and cooking supplies with us, but it's not the case for this lovely home. We plan on returning here for many years to come, thank you Marina again for sharing your perfect home with us!!

This was our second stay at Lynn’s place! It is so clean and well taken care of. It is very convenient to the beach! Lynn and her family are so kind and easy to communicate with. Would 1000% recommend!

I stayed here for the weekend. It was in a great location—walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the beach. The place was clean, and the host, Chris, was really responsive. I picked it because it was listed as a Guest Favorite, and now I totally see why!

Michael’s place was absolutely perfect for our group!! We really enjoyed having the loft with a bunch of extra beds so we didn’t have to bring any air mattresses. It’s about a 7-10 minute easy walk to the beach. Had everything we needed for cooking. Hot tub was a nice addition! We did have a little trouble with keeping it warm but that was probably more user error on our end than anything and we didn’t try trouble shooting. Absolutely recommend this place for a larger group and would definitely stay here again!

Great condo in a great location. Walking distance to the beach and Coligny Square. Condo was spacious with a great porch overlooking the pool. An added plus was an awesome shower in the master suite!!

We had a wonderful time staying at Pamela’s place with our family of 5! The location was great- tucked away but close to everything we needed by walking or biking. The house is super cute and thoughtfully decorated and very comfortable- even better than the pictures. The pool was awesome- just the right size for our kids and we appreciated the shallow end for our littlest one. We’d come back here in a heartbeat! Also don’t miss getting ice cream at The Ice Cream Cone near Coligny! So good!

House was exactly as represented and exactly what we were looking for! Check in was easy, instructions were clear and when we had questions staff was extremely responsive. Thank you for a great vacation and great experience!

I enjoyed my 5 day stay. It was clean and had everything I needed. The walk to beach and pool area was an easy walk not too far. I do think the mattress could use an update and be more comfortable. But overall, it was great place.

The house was perfect for our large family! It had plenty of bathrooms (and hot water) for quick and easy clean up of the little ones after long days at the beach and on the water. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe! Lots to do in the area all within minutes of the house. The whole family enjoyed the swimming pool. The location offered easy access to anywhere we wanted to go. Tracy was wonderful and easy to contact. I’d definitely pick this home again if ever in the area!

Great house for our family vacation over New Years. Heated spa worked great. Short walk from the private beach. Kitchen was adequately stocked for our needs. Bedrooms were clean and spacious. Would definitely stay here again!

Our family of 2 adults and 2 children (ages 10 and 8) loved our visit at The Dunes! Kim was quick to respond to our questions and friendly each time. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. our girls especially loved sleeping in the very wel built bunk beds. The FULL SIZE washer and dryer were a pleasant surprise. The pool was heated and made swimming in April very fun. It truly felt like bath water! The location was very convenient for biking to restaurants, shopping, ice cream, a splash pad, grocery store, and a playground. The walk to the beach was short and easy. It was never crowded. We would definitely recommend a stay here and are already planning to book a stay here for our next visit!
