We had a great time at the ferry house and enjoyed the stay very much - Heiko and Ina are totally nice and helpful and the place and garden are very nice. Thank you, we felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back!

We had a wonderful few days at this great place. The decor is color selection is really great, the hot tub and the various outdoor seating is a real highlight. The entire garden area is beautifully landscaped and well maintained. Wilko responded thoughtfully and quickly to requests. Only the beds have been a little too soft for our taste, which does not stop us from visiting this house again!

Our recent stay was for 4 nights, but we wished we had booked longer. The property was very clean, very modern and had parking that was safe and easy to find. after the long drive the hot tub was hot and lovely to relax in! We loved that the property was accommodating for animals and we immediately felt at home with the very friendly hosts. we would definitely stay again.

Our stay with Nanda and Peter was in a nutshell! The polite reception and a short but precise introduction to the property made us feel right at home. The AirBnB offers everything as advertised and it is even more beautiful than the pictures suggest. Communication worked great and we were given tips and recommendations for the area. The combination of a nice and privacy-respecting family next door, the opportunity to interact with the trustworthy animals and the quiet environment make the AirBnB unique. An absolute recommendation for every animal and nature lover. Thank you for everything and hopefully until soon!

great house in great idyllic, very quiet location, very nicely decorated rooms , good mattresses. the kitchen is well equipped, a few utensils are missing and especially larger pots if you want to cook with 8 people. The dishwasher was broken; the landlord unfortunately could not repair it on site. Overall, however, a top place to stay that is worth the price.

A lovely place if you want to relax. The extra attention was also great what can a person feel welcome.

Very nice accommodation in an outstanding location. We felt very comfortable. Ideal for excursions. Everything very easy to reach and very quietly located right on the water. Very tasty breakfast from Esther for a fee. We will be happy to come back sometime. Thanks to Esther & Marc as friendly hosts.

We stayed here for Christmas and New Year. It is a very cozy cottage. Sparkling clean and equipped with every comfort. Marlies had taken the trouble to decorate the cottage in Christmas atmospheres. There was even a Christmas tree. She also had a delicious Christmas turban at the bakery. We really felt at home. We had some bad luck with the weather but you can walk here with various excursions within walking distance. Maybe not the cheapest place to stay but really worth the money.

Nice cottage in the middle of nature. (woods) House was clean and everything present. Spent a few nice days on the Veluwe, cycled a lot and walked, so had beautiful weather!!! Certainly subject to repetition.

This place is a stroke of luck. If you are looking for a large and cozy accommodation in a quiet location for a large family with four-legged family, this is the place to be. There's not just a lot of space for the dogs. The agreement with Pascal was straightforward. He was very nice. We felt immediately comfortable here and will definitely be back soon!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cabin in Friesland. Every single detail was thoughtfully designed to make us feel comfortable and at home. The surroundings were stunning , peaceful, quiet, and full of natural beauty. It was the perfect place to relax and recharge. We truly appreciated the care that went into every aspect of the stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene getaway!

so from to East Frisia, our first Airbnb experience was great and exactly what I was looking for had a quiet location, mostly accessible, comfortable beds, great opportunities for families with children and what I particularly noticed is a garden that is not East Frisian perfect so that dogs also had fun. I can only recommend the house the furnishings and the equipment is good.

We stayed here for 4 days and felt very comfortable. Caroline and Jan are very nice and helpful and the house is beautiful and very cozy, especially the sun rays give a very great light through the old windows. You can also sit comfortably in the quiet garden, enjoy the sun in the morning and listen to the birds and bumblebees. My dog Murphy also felt at home! Which is also very special: there was even food to bridge the first afternoon! Thanks so much for the great break!

We stayed there for 2 nights. Very cozy little cottage, slept well in it. There was all the amenities available. I would have loved only one or two more curtains. Also, the smell took some getting used to, it smelled a little old. Probably because it is. Still, it was a pleasant stay. Best I found the flexible arrival time.

Our stay at Marlie's place was very nice, despite the rainy weather on our arrival we were able to spend a nice time in the house. The fireplace was our comfort in the wet weather. Sheets and towels were sufficiently available. We found everything we needed & loved the garden & playground. For our children, it was a few nice days in nature right outside the door. Thanks Marlies for the good communication & the chest Lego in the living room.

Absolutely wondeful cottage on the water - cosy, comfortable and very well thought out. We had a fantastic time going out on the boat (our little 4 year old learned to row!) and sitting on the deck, enjoying watching the ducks and coots. Mike and Denise are very attentive hosts. We miss it already and hope to be back!

It is even more fun than in the pictures, soda and bubbles in the fridge, everything has been thought of. Hand soap, tea, herbs etc. Friendly hostess, with the necessary tips. Lovely seating on the veranda, with blankets. Nice shower, plenty of towels, bathrobes. Fully equipped kitchen. Worth repeating!

Had a very nice stay. Good communication with Richard to enter the cottage (he was still on vacation himself). Very clean cottage with all the comforts. Beautiful large garden with views and lots of tranquility. In the summer it seems wonderful to come back here. A double bed is on the landing and this space cannot be locked. With slightly older children, that is easy to do, but given the bed is on an open staircase, I do not recommend this for very young children. Or you have to sleep under a very sloping wall as parents. Underfloor heating was very pleasant. We had a great time in the area! Thank you Richard!

This is a real gem in the little village of Groet. The bus stop is right across from the house, which was extremely convenient with hourly bus service to Alkmaar. The kitchen had what we needed to cook a hot breakfast, and there was a coffee maker that had an integrated bean grinder which was appreciated (we bought beans). The house was a couple of minutes on foot from a bike rental place (open 7 days a week) and we enjoyed a beautiful day cycling around the dunes. We loved the rural feel of the place, there was farmland all around the villlage and traditional thatched houses. Having cycled through some of the other nearby villages, Groet had the nicest vibe, not too touristy or pretentious. The sleeping set up was as described, two single beds in a seperate room accessed through the main bedroom. Going to the bathroom in the middle of the night was a bit challenging getting down the ladder inthe dark, so a headlamp is recommended. Overall, it was a perfect stay.

We spent a lovely short break in Gerard's lovely little cottage. It's perfectly equipped for two, very cosy with a very efficient pellet stove and the surroundings are lovely and peaceful with just cows and chickens to be heard.Bathroom is lovely and kitchen really well equipped. It's so convenient for visiting Groningen and there are lovely cycling routes and trails all around. What is also great is that there is wine and lovely local produce made by Gerard's wife available on site. We will definitely return.

There were three of us in the cottage for two days. The tranquility was wonderful and we really enjoyed the view from the windows into the vastness. An oasis in the stressful everyday life!

We stayed during end of the year and had a great time. The place is cozy and even though it was winter time was very warm inside. The sauna was as we expected great and we had a nice relaxing time, so much recommended. There is a bakery, cafe, gas station with small shop, and restaurant all on walking distance. Supermarket was 6-7 minues by car with more shops and snackbar. All in all very nice stay and would really like to revisit.
