Holiday rentals in Fuente Amarga

Garret and Jackie welcomed us into their home like we were old friends. The accommodation is pristine, with ample room in each villa to allow for privacy, or communal areas to enjoy congregating with the hosts/other guests. You can tell they are very proud of their home and are constantly working on it. They were also very patient and attentive to our boisterous 3 year old boy, which was so nice and allowed us to relax knowing someone was always watching his movements. The location is perfect if you want to explore Andalusia, and we took advantage to visit Antequera, El Torcal national park, Ronda and Cordoba to name a few. The residence is located at the base of the hills of a national park, with stunning views. The local town is quaint and has everything you need should you venture for walk. The villas are beautifully decorated in a very authentic Andalusian style. We loved this trip and Garret and Jackie were a huge factor in that. Thank you both for a wonderful experience.

Very nice place. Very clean and modern. Great host. Nice area. I prefer to stay central Malaga as it saves hiring a car. Great area for the beach and families. Great view. Very peaceful area. Lots of places to eat. Great if you have a car to visit other towns.

Great location very close to the beach and local shop 1 minute walk away. Antonio was a great host.

We enjoyed it so much. Really a wonderful apartment in this location. Swimming pools at the complex and swimming in the sea. We didn't have to use the air conditioning, the apartment has a lovely temperature if you don't open the shutters completely during the day. Nearby nice villages and restaurants are within walking distance. Great to stay here!

A great apartment that is equipped with everything you need. The view from the balcony is fantastic and the beach is easily accessible in 15 minutes on foot. The landlords are very friendly and have many tips. There are many attractions in the surrounding area. Stalactite caves Schmeterlingsgärten and of course Malaga with its many museums. We had a really enjoyable stay at Villa Mariposa. The property matched the description and photos accurately, providing a comfortable base for our trip. The villa was clean, well-maintained, and practical. We particularly appreciated the large sliding doors which opened up the space and offered fantastic views. A definite highlight was having fresh lemons from the trees in the garden for our G&Ts! The amenities provided were good, and everything was in working order. The location was very convenient. It was an easy walk to local small shops for essentials, the beach, and surprisingly, a Buddhist temple which was interesting to see. The area felt safe and was relatively quiet. Ricardo a great host – responsive and helpful when needed. Communication was clear, and the check-in/out process was straightforward. Villa Mariposa is a solid choice for a stay in the area.

A group of 7 girlfriends stayed at Ruben’s house to celebrate our special birthdays. The house was perfect. It was bright, clean and kitted out with everything we needed. The facilities were great, the pool was lovely to cool off in, in the sunshine, sunbeds were comfy and the various seating areas and bar were perfect for having an evening drink or sharing a meal. The decor was modern and well presented with lovely bathrooms and bedrooms. The location is wonderful. Ten minutes walk to the beach, some bars and supermarket. There are also some lovely local places to eat nearby. It is slightly outside Benalmadena, which meant it was quieter and more sedate, just what we were looking for. If you wanted the livelier areas, they are still within walking distance from the house. Ruben was incredibly responsive to messages, really helpful and accommodating. We couldn’t have asked for more from him. We had a fantastic few days here and would definitely return. Well worth it. Thank you Ruben.
