Monthly Rentals in Gallos

As a solo woman traveler and digital nomad, this was a perfect first stop on my journey. It’s a very safe area with a supermarket next door and a variety of cafes, bakeries, and restaurants in walking distance. I did not rent a car but I was perfectly fine with getting a taxi to go into the city center or to the beach! I got a great deal on a 4 week stay and the host is hospitable. I have 0 complaints, highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at the earthouse! The house was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a relaxing stay. The location was great, and we truly appreciated the peaceful atmosphere. Our host was incredibly kind, responsive, and always available to answer any questions, which made our experience even better. I highly recommend this place and would love to come back in the future!

The owners were great always on hand and responded very quickly - they arranged car hire and food delivery for our arrival. Would highly recommend this property especially if you like it private - it’s a great location to travel around due to close proximity to main roads to explore along the coast or go down to the south of the island. Would recommend you hire a vehicle, there is a Lidl 5 mins away and the main town is just around 10 mins. This would be ideal for family with older children as there is a great pool and plenty of activities ie pool table / table tennis table. The property was extremely clean with plenty of towels and lovely basket with some fruit / wine on arrival - great hosts and property….

We stayed in Zoi's apartment for 1 week. She was always available and always responded to messages. When we arrived late at night, she had put pizzas and ice cream in the freezer for us. For our breakfast, there was also everything we needed! The apartment has direct access to the beach and the old town of Rethymno is a 20/25-minute walk. Really a great place to stay with ocean views 🥰 always happy to come back!!
