The Swallows Nest is a large apartment for 4 people that is family-friendly. The half-timbered walls are plastered with clay, creating a cozy indoor climate. Wood and natural materials give the apartment a special charm. The Schwalbennest vacation home has 65 m² on the second floor of the renovated side building of the Buschmühle and has a bedroom with a double bed (individually possible), a bedroom with single beds (together possible) and a living area with an integrated kitchen and a small bathroom with shower/toilet. The kitchen is equipped with a ceramic stovetop, oven, fridge/freezer, toaster and coffee maker. Free Wi-Fi is available to our guests. If you need a highchair, please contact us. The vacation home has 160 square meters of living space and 5 bedrooms for 10 plus 2 people. It is located in the middle of the Leipzig Neuseenland on Lake Hain 20 km south of Leipzig. The core of the house is a 70 square meter dining/living room with huge windows, a long dining table and a fireplace. There are two large terraces, from the upper one you have a view far over the lake. The house was deliberately designed for sociable days in a larger group. For the children there are many books, toys and a playground.

Internet: 50 megas download, 10 megas upload. Deutsch: (for english please use Google translate) The whole apartment is fully equipped, there is an Aldi supermarket across the street and the city center is within easy walking distance. The entrance to the city park is 20 meters away. There is a beer garden with wonderful food in the middle of the park and a famous Michelin (1) restaurant very close by.

Vacation home in a nature reserve & close to the city

5 min to the highway, only 20 km to Chemnitz, 60 km to Leipzig, 90 km to Dresden and yet in the middle of an oasis of nature, streams and ponds, meadows and forests, tranquility and the relaxing sound of the water. The apartment is located in the middle of the forest! Please do not rate us 4 or fewer stars due to the idyllic & quiet location. Thank you very much.
