Kid-friendly holiday rentals in German Village, Columbus

Matthew's house is in a walkable location with lots of fun shops and restaurants nearby. The home is well-stocked with supplies, had all the modern conveniences, and was very clean. The host was extremely responsive and our check-in/check-out was a breeze. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay in Columbus! There were plenty of places that were walkable from the house. Having the yard was nice for sitting outside in the evening on a warmer spring night. For what its worth, the next door neighbors have a basketball hoop on the garage and teens were playing out there and hit our car at least twice that we heard. Not a negative review on the spot but just FYI. Thanks for everything Kate & Nat!

Our kids loved this house! They were playing pirates or mame machines whenever we had down time at the property. Close to downtown, restaurants, parks, museums, stores, and everything else you need for a stay. Host was responsive and proactive, space was clean and unique.

Ebony was a great host who allowed us an early check-in after a long day of travel! She helped us with whatever we were looking for and seemed to be easiest to contact via phone call. The space was beautiful and we were happy to be there! If we come to Columbus again, we’ll try to book her place again.

Fantastic place for our very large group who came to attend the graduation ceremony of our children. Had room for everyone to comfortably sleep. Large table and kitchen to gather around for dinner and make coffee or a simple breakfast. Very close to The Ohio State University, so we could go and come multiple times. Overall, very thrilled with the house and more importantly the host is the most friendly and welcoming person i have ever interacted with. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

Yetty's listing is becoming my families home away from home when we visit our son and his family. The house is always clean and well equipped. Yetty is very friendly and responds to questions quickly. My son and granddaughter accompanied us on our last trip. The granddaughters response when we walked in the door was,"Wow fancy!"

My husband & I were in town for a Marriage Retreat and the Avenue AirBNB was absolutely perfect for such a trip! Location was easy to find, parking not an issue, easy access in and the apartment was great! Beautiful kitchen with necessities to cook dinner, living space was great, comfortable bed & the hot tub was the BEST addition to relax in at the end of the night. It is possible to hear neighbors in the same building but not to the point of major disruption, when we soaked in the hot tub each night the neighborhood was so quiet and peaceful. We were so glad to stay here over a hotel and would definitely return in the future! The venue we drove to each day was the Hyatt Regency hotel in downtown Columbus and it took us about 13 minutes to travel there. Many great restaurants nearby this location to choose from also.

My son needed a short term rental for an internship in downtown Columbus. Joseph's spacious apartment fit the bill perfectly. It was a short walk to the internship, thus removing the hassles of commuting and parking. Without those things to distract him, he focused more easily on the job, and experienced a successful internship.

I had a lovely stay and Harman is a great host! Very responsive and clear communication. The space is decorated beautifully with colorful art. It has a refrigerator, a super comfy and supportive bed, two large tvs, a large bathtub and storage space!

We traveled to the Columbus for a horse show at the Expo Center. Decided to get an Airbnb instead of our usual hotel room. I found Brendan’s apartment listed and booked last minute (I’m a procrastinator). I am so thankful. The apartment was beautiful, we were able to walk to the expo center. Lots of great restaurants/bars as the apartment was close to OSU campus. It’s was clean, not cluttered. The hosts were quick to respond. I will be sure to book each time we are in town if it is available! ☺️

15 minute walk to houndogs pizza and 30 minute walk to The Shoe! We would definitely book again.

Had a WONDERFUL time in the charming and whimsical space!! Historical, charming, and functional, The Aerie had a bountiful helping of fun additions in this Victorian space. Loved the overlapping rugs especially. The place was well furnished and made the perfect getaway for the weekend.

The location is excellent, very close to everything. We enjoyed the apartment, it is clean and tidy, but when you go out of the apartment, there is a strong bad smell in the corridors of the building, but other than that, everything is good. Dom is a nice person, always ready to respond to your messages. I appreciate that

This place was a steal! Great location and walkable to everywhere. The space itself was clean and spacious, with many amenities. We will definitely stay here again.

We had a short but great stay at Mark’s place while attending a conference—literally right across the street, which made it incredibly convenient. The condo is spacious, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Mark was an excellent host—responsive, provided detailed check-in instructions with photos, and was very accommodating to our requests. The location is fantastic, with tons of great restaurants and a wonderful market just steps away. As noted in the listing, the unit is located above a restaurant and bar. If you enter through the back, you’ll even pass the kitchen. Because of this, music and noise can be heard until about 2 a.m. when the bar closes. Being on the 4th floor helps reduce the volume, but it’s still noticeable—especially for light sleepers. That said, Mark thoughtfully provides earplugs and white noise machines, which helped. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would gladly return if we're back in the area!

Columbus is not that far from our home, but we decided we wanted to make our concert date into an overnight adventure. Tara’s condo was the perfect solution. The space was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. We enjoyed the front balcony overlooking the street, and the back balcony offered a quiet respite. Best of all, the place came with a designated parking place. We walked to pick up the pizza and fish we ordered for dinner; there were lots of nearby eating options. We Ubered to the Mershon Auditorium, and then we walked back to the condo (less than a mile and a half) on a beautiful Columbus spring night. It was great to relax and sleep in a bit the next morning before heading home. Thanks, Tara! We appreciate your hospitality and hope to visit again.

We had a great stay. The condo was clean and cozy. The neighborhood was quiet. We enjoyed walking around the area with our kids. We all felt very comfortable staying at this location. Jessie was easy to get in touch with and left clear instructions for check in and check out.
