Family-friendly holiday rentals in Gièvres

Small house, clean, practical, nothing missing. The owners are easily reachable and help as much as they can in the event of any problems. The hot tub was extra. The pool area is pleasant and well appointed. Very well located, it allows you to make magnificent visits nearby: Chambord, the Château de Villesavin, Cheverny, the activities of Le Loisirs Loire Valley, rent bicycles,… With our 3-year-old child, it was a great destination.

We fell in love with our accommodation Au Cocon De Sologne (my husband, my 2 children and I). The accommodation was very nice, clean, very functional and the bedding was excellent! We chose this place because it's close to some Loire castles (less than 30 minutes from Chambord for example), and the Jacuzzi at the end of the day was just magical! The plus: large selection of books, comics, board games available (it made the evening with the children). Very welcoming, available and accommodating hosts. In short, everything came together for a great relaxing stay! We can't wait to go back because it's a huge favorite! Thanks again to Au Cocon De Sologne

Very warm welcome from Elodie and Rodolphe. The place is exceptional and very spacious, we were 5 families and everyone had their own space. There is plenty to do in the villa: billiards, foosball, jacuzzi, arcade game, console, ping pong table, petanque, in short everything is there to have a pleasant time. You can even take a walk in the woods safely. The dining room table was great so we could all eat at the same time; which is rare. Thank you +++ for the delicious bottle of white and for the candy provided. We will gladly go back, maybe more in the summer to enjoy the pool. Thanks again Elodie and Rodolphe!!!

Very good stay, the apartment is very pleasant as well as the terrace in the small garden and the hot tub of course. Very nice property, I recommend it!

We loved our stay at Nathalie's. The caravan was well equipped and comfortable. The kids loved the pools and waterslides, which even though the weather was chilly on the day we were there, were heated outside to 27 degrees. Very nice! Nathalie was responsive and very lovely to communicate with.

We have just had the best 12 days staying at Oliver's stunning garden room. The accomodation was perfect, the garden stunning & the hot tub was a treat after a day exploring the area. Oliver reccomended some great places to visit that we may not have gone to as there are so many great places to visit. We had the pleasure of having a drink with Oliver & Marie before we left which was lovely way to end our stay....merci Oliver 🙂 We would reccomend staying at Oliver's to anyone & you would love it 👍🏻🙂

Great cottage very well located in the area in relation to castles and zoo. The view of nature from the veranda is just amazing and allows you to rest in peace. Tastefully decorated and well-equipped house for the whole family. Our daughter and our dog and ourselves were very delighted. We would definitely recommend this property.

Very nice and very spacious accommodation which allows you to have several groups / activities. Amelie is responsive, communication is fluid.

Bernadette and alain are very nice and welcoming, highly recommend! Very well equipped for children ( board games, books, chairs and coffee tables) We took this accommodation for two days in Beauval with the family and it was perfect👌. On site we were able to visit the castle and the automobile museum which are close by. Thanks for the few days 😁

What more can I say? I found the place in relation to its proximity to the ZooParc de Beauval, The place and the hosts were a reflection of all the previous reviews…. Thanks again to Marie No and Jean Louis for the little touches to the whole family! Throughout our stay! We were pampered from our arrival until we left! A big thank you for this amazing stay in your home in the heart of nature! The setting is absolutely magical, surrounded by forest, with soothing calm and so relaxing atmosphere. The little extra: the beautiful fireplace, perfect for warm evenings after a day of hiking. The house is superb, perfectly equipped and full of charm. Genevieve welcomes with the heart and her home is in her image! The garden is also very pleasant, you can have your meals there with peace of mind. There is room to park the car. Nearby shops (grocery store, bakeries, butcher, post office, cafe) and 2 restaurants, are within walking distance by a pretty path bordering the Cisse at the bottom of the grounds. Château de Chaumont-sur-Loire is less than 15 minutes away and Grand Chambord's natural swimming is less than 30 minutes away!

We had a great time at Sophie's home with our seven-year-old son. The proximity to the different castles is ideal for exploring the region.

Great stay! Marielle is very responsive and accommodating. The setting of the cottage is exceptional with nature and animals. The ponies you see in the garden when you wake up are exceptional. The cottage is a little rustic but the bedding is comfortable.

We had a great weekend with the family, the kids really enjoyed the outdoor area and pool. The house is spacious and the garden beautiful! Special mention for the chicken coop, nice to pick up the eggs with the family!

A guarantee of a peaceful and cocooning stay in the middle of Sologne. Very well located for exploring Chambord castle. Very welcoming hosts and happy to share their local addresses. Perfectly equipped cottage for hosting and cooking for 12 people.

great stay at PILAR and PIERRE's, adorable couple, caring and very helpful. extra accommodation everything is there " like home" peaceful and bucolic environment close to all amenities and the many surrounding castles. i recommend it urgently and even more if you have children they will be in paradise.

Very nice house that is as described. Located in a very quiet and peaceful location but which remains close to Beauval Zoo and the Châteaux of the Loire Valley. Ideal environment to rest after busy days. Super welcoming and very considerate host. Thank you from all 4 of us

The castle is amazing. We went there with a group of friends, and we had the best time. Everything was so well prepared, the kitchen is fully equipped to clean and there’s even a BBQ. We loved it!

Everything was perfect! A little paradise with a beautiful setting, the noise of the river, the animals, a fireplace. It had everything we needed to cook, which was very convenient. We hope to be back next year!
