The Castrum

The 3-star gîte (CDT 31) is housed in an old 13th century house that overlooks the vast village square and is part of the old medieval castrum (fortified square) whose thickness of certain walls and the embrasures recall the ancient origins of the place. The village is part of the Cocagne region within the "blue gold triangle" connecting Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne, a region steeped in history related to the culture and flourishing trade of pastel in the 14th century.

Charming listed house, by the water, close to the mediaeval village of Bruniquel. You will enjoy its large garden with no neighbours opposite, the shade of its oaks, and the local wildlife (birds, squirrels...). The calm of nature will recharge your batteries. The independent chalet is located on our 7000 m² plot of land adjoining our house.
