The cabin is located right down by the seafront in the harbor of Alnes with panoramic views of both the fjord and the ocean. It is fascinating to watch the bird life and boat traffic. The light changes throughout the day, you can see both sunrise and sunset from the living room window. This is a place where you can find peace. Right outside the living room door there are well-marked, varied hiking trails. You can also go on day trips to Ålesund, Geiranger and Runde. On the neighboring island there is a water sports center with equipment rental.

Free parking. 1/2 minute's walk to the fjord, where sea enthusiasts can hire rowing boats and paddleboards. Feel free to cycle/walk to Atlanterhavsparken, Tueneset with its beach, trails, gazebos and bonfire area, as well as World War II bunkers. You can walk up to Sugarloaf from here. NOTE: The storage room has electricity, but not running water or a toilet. Guests can use shower and toilet in the main house which is 30 m away. The bathroom in the main house is for the exclusive use of you guests, and access to the rest of the main house is restricted. There are 5 litres of water available in the fridge. My place is good for couples, lone travelers, and business travelers. Can also be suitable for a small family. (Extra mattresses).
