MacLeod Cove is a 3-bedroom cottage on the Bras d'Or, Cape Breton's beautiful inland sea. Enjoy ocean views and private cove, within 25 minutes drive of Baddeck, North Sydney (Newfoundland ferry terminal), and the Cabot Trail. Smoking and fires of any kind are not permitted anywhere on the property. The cottage is very private, surrounded by forest and sea. It typically has good cell phone coverage and we have wifi. The Bunkie is a STAND ALONE structure, separate from the Beach House. Consider this if traveling with young kids. This cozy bunkie (10’ x 14’) sports a comfy King sized bed, vaulted ceiling, great views and a covered deck. THIIS IS THE ONLY CLIMATE CONTROLLED AREA at the property.

There is a private beach across the street or try Mira Gut provincial park beach approximately 1 km down the road. There is a children’s play structure onsite. The cottage has been newly renovated and is very modern and tastefully decorated - a true oasis!
