Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

Our Beautiful, cosy mountain chalet has been recently renovated with designer furniture. We have newly built a very large terrace with direct access to the garden, with amazing views. The chalet is located an hour drive from Zurich, in Arvenbühl, at 1250m altitude. The chalet is ski in-ski out. It has 3 bedrooms: 1 main bedroom with a queen bed, a second smaller bedroom with a bunk bed and on the top floor (low ceiling), there are 4 additional beds. It is perfect for a family of 2 to 7.

Alpaca Farm Holiday

This newly renovated holiday apartment is located in the peaceful, idyllic foothills of the Alps at 1000 m above sea level. On our active farm with dairy cows, you can experience real farm life up close – from watching milking to daily farm work. A highlight are our young animals, including alpacas, calves and piglets, as well as pigs, bees, chickens, cats and our very child-friendly dog. Perfect for families, couples, or anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in nature.

Personally furnished, cozy penthouse apartment with 2 large living/bedrooms, large kitchen with dining area, balcony, mountain views. Located in a quiet neighborhood, close to shopping, bus stop, train station. Walking and cycling trails start from the house. Summer and winter sports in the nearby mountains. On site (2.2 km) Lintharena sports center with climbing wall and a pool with a 34° outdoor pool. In Netstal: Arena Cinema with 5 screens. In Glarus: ice rink.

Our paradise invites you to relax. The guest room and bathroom as well as the living room (where there is a small fridge, a Nespresso coffee maker and a kettle) are located in the attic with beautiful views of Lake Walen and the Churfirsten. OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES Our cat also lives in the attic, which shares the bathroom and the living room. It has a parking in front of the house and a seating area with a fireplace. Die grosse Wohnung ist im warmen skandinavischen Stil eingerichtet und verfügt über eine private Sauna (funktioniert wieder dank neuem Ofen). The beautiful lodging is combined with an older farmhouse, which is located more remote and surrounded by woods and meadows with views of the beautiful Glarus mountains. In this area you can enjoy the tranquillity, as a leisure activity there are many places of interest and sports facilities, such as hiking in the mountains of Amden or on the Speer - King of the Pre-Alps. If the weather is fine, you can enjoy a fantastic view of Lake Constance.

Your exclusive getaway with 360-degree views of Säntis/Lake Constance and yet so close to attractions such as St.Gallen/Appenzell. This 200-year-old Appenzell house towers high above Herisau AR and is lovingly called "GöttiFritz" by its owners. It shines authentically in a fantastic mountain and hill scenery – a true retreat for the soul.
