Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

In the beautiful, mostly fog-free Ybrig and the surrounding area, you will find everything to enjoy your vacation, e.g. skiing in the nearby Hoch-Ybrig and Oberiberg ski resort, cross-country skiing in the neighboring village of Studen-Unteriberg, snowshoeing. Bike and hiking tours, as well as swimming in the indoor pool Unteriberg or the Alpamare in Pfäffikon-Schwyz, which can be reached from us in 30 minutes by car.

This 200-year-old Appenzell house towers high above Herisau AR and is lovingly called "GöttiFritz" by its owners. It shines authentically in a fantastic mountain and hill scenery – a true retreat for the soul.

The apartment is located in a vacation home in a quiet location with a large garden directly above Lake Lucerne in historic central Switzerland and is close to the SwissHolidayPark leisure and spa complex in the Stoos ski and hiking area. Eight individually designed bedrooms, an open-plan kitchen with a dining area, a cosy lounge, a terrace, a private fitness room and a sauna ensure a relaxing stay. Our house is located in a small mountain village in the middle of the Glarus mountains near Elm. The apartment is right in the host's house. Part of the garden belongs to the apartment. A gas grill is available for our guests for exclusive use. Free parking by the house. We care about the well-being of our guests. Throughout the year, there are many different activities in this region. There's something for everyone.

This beautiful apartment is just a 5-7 minute walk from the mountain railway. In addition, the reading café “Bsinti” and a grocery store are nearby, so you have everything you need right at hand.
