The Anchorage, Arrochar, was built circa 1913 and has been newly upgraded in December 2019 giving the cottage a luxurious interior with gas central heating and beautiful wood burning stove. Two ensuites and a beautiful bathroom provides guests with plenty of room whilst the large garden with pizza oven and BBQ has amazing views where guests can relax on the decking or seek shade in the lean to. Everyone can use the fire pit, games room or play area to keep occupied or use the Kayaks provided.

There's wonderful walks from the doorstep and it's a great base to explore the cities and sights of central Scotland. Our quiet & lovely village pub, The Swan is open Friday- Monday. The property has ample grounds with lawns and grassed areas with uninterrupted panoramic views and also couple of friendly Pigmy goats. You can find highland cattle and horses in the fields nearby. Character has been retained in this beautiful modern space. Our little slice of paradise is at the gate way to the highlands and 5 minutes from doune ( for those Outlander fans). It is perfect for those wanting to explore the beautiful surrounding area or even as a stop over on route to the highlands.

Byre

Blair Byre is a historic building dating back to the 18 th century, starting life as a Crofters cottage before becoming a Byre for livestock. Abandoned for years it has been sympathetically transformed to sit comfortably in its rural setting. The interior has many interesting features incorporating, an eclectic range of materials reclaimed from a local church, distillery, and nearby woodland.

A spacious and charming country cottage in a quiet setting close to the Campsie fells. The cottage is situated on a working farm and offers beautiful views of rural farmland.
