Beachfront holiday rentals in Gold Country

This stay was given as a xmas gift to our kids. They had a wonderful time! The home was beyond their expectations as far as comfort, cleanliness, location, size and amenities. They especially enjoyed the claw foot tub! The big picture windows were an added gift watching the snow fall while sitting by the fire after a long day of skiing. MaryAnn was wonderful to work with. Her communication and prompt response was greatly appreciated. Although this home is a little higher priced than others in the area, it is well worth it! Our kids look forward to returning again and had a well rested and enjoyable time!

Great location! We loved the private dock and being right next to Carol’s and a short distance via car or boat to Plumas Pines Restaurant! Cabin is clean and cozy. Hosts were responsive and helpful. Would love to book again!

My family had an amazing trip to Coloma Cottages. The host and on-site host were very responsive and friendly. We loved tubing on the river and fishing was fun too! My kids enjoyed the pool and my doggie loved the deer watching. We will definitely be back next season.

We had such a great time at this home and has the cozy cabin vibes you want in Tahoe. The layout is great families and really has everything you need. The location is great between Kings Beach / Sunnyside and it was easy to get to everything. Although a little dated, the house is very cozy and is perfect for Tahoe weekend! We would definitely rent this house again!

Our family had a lovely stay. The location was close to Palisades and walking distance to restaurants on the lake. Our family of 4 was very comfortable and would rent again!

The house was very clean and spacious with a grill, private hot tub, and all the kitchen utensils needed. However it was not walking distance to the lake as we had expected.

This is an absolutely stunning lake side home that had every amenity for families to make treasured lifetime memories. My favorite was the huge picnic table on the deck where you could have dinner and watch the sunset over the lake. Rich, is the perfect host, so flexible and responsive with anything you might need. My parents, husband and I enjoyed day trips to Lassen, fishing literally from the backyard and the beautiful scenery that surrounds this home. Quiet and peaceful, it’s the perfect place to get away from the stress of everyday life. Many thanks for sharing your home with us, we will be back!

My partner, our 2 small dogs and I had an amazing vacation at Emily’s place; we ended up extending our stay as we fell in love with the space and the area. The private creek was the highlight of our stay; it is such a peaceful relaxing and beautiful spot. We had breakfast on the patio every morning and loved soaking in forest views, smells and creek sounds. There were people staying at the main house, but we only saw them when they were driving by; so overall it was quite private and our dogs had plenty of space to roam. The studio itself was very clean, airy, cozy, aesthetically pleasing and environmentally conscious. We loved the skylights and giant windows; waking up to the sight of greenery was such a treat. It’s clear that Emily has put a lot of thought into setting up this space. Emily had great communication, and was very accommodating. I forgot my headphones when we were leaving, and they kindly arranged to mail them. We’ll certainly be back.

As advertised, nice place!

This was my first time staying at an Airbnb and it was wonderful! The place was so cozy, nicely decorated, and stocked with what we needed. Jennifer was very quick to respond to any questions and gave very clear instructions. This location was perfect for our trip to Heavenly and had so many things nearby. Our group absolutely loved it, especially the location. We loved going down to the dock on the lake and the hot tub after a day of skiing. We would definitely stay here again!

Dana, was responsive and communicated quickly when we had questions. She did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The location is excellent with the private beach and within walking diatance to shops and activities.

Great place for skiing at Palisades

This was an idyllic stay for two families and a grandparent. It was our kids first outing in the snow and it was picture perfect. There was enough space in the front of the yard for them to play in fresh snow, and there's a nice mudroom entry way to keep things neat going in and out of the house. The large central living area was the star of the show with the wood stove providing comfort and warmth through the days and nights. Ample bedding and linens, and everything was clean and in order. Highly recommend and this property will be at the top of our list next time we come to the Tahoe Donner area.

Great townhouse at the Tahoe Lake front with amazing view. It was a bit tricky to find at first after parking. Very well stocked house. Kitchen is so nice that it felt like at home. The only thing is the knifes are too dull (even after I tried to sharpen them) :) Safeway and plenty restaurants nearby. It was very easy to figure out what to eat. Jimmy was very responsive, when we accidentally locked outs of the first floor bathroom he came by in 5 minutes with several keys to open it.

Kevin's place was so spacious and homey, and conveniently located. Extremely close to Heavenly, and easy access to hot tub, pool, and lake. Kevin is super responsive and was extremely helpful with any questions I had during our stay. Would recommend and would definitely stay again!

Kim and Jason are very responsive hosts! They will check-in with you proactively to make sure that your stay is up to your expectation. When our group couldn't find the sponge in the kitchen, they sent someone from their cleaning crew to drop it off within the next 30 minutes. They also offered to reimburse the cooking oil we purchased since there weren't any onsite which we appreciated (but didn't accept since it was only a few dollars)! The location of this Airbnb is also a highlight as it's extremely close to a Safeway (only 4-5 minute drive away) and pretty close to Palisades. The dock in the neighborhood also has an incredible view of the water and mountains, great for pictures or just taking a walk :)

Really enjoyed our stay here and in South Lake Tahoe. The condo was extremely comfortable and had what we needed to enjoy our stay. The location is great. Only a few minutes walk to the Lake and restaurants, stores and activities in town were close enough to walk to. Would definitely stay here again!

Lake front property perfect for just hanging out in the lake and jumping off the dock. The girls and I did yoga on the patio one morning, and dinner on the balcony of the big house one night. It was the perfect stay for us.

I really like the place and location

This lakeside home is even more stunning in person. The views, boat, hot tub, and games were the highlights of our stay! It is very clean and has lots of space! The hosts were incredibly responsive and accommodating. We plan to come back again!

Communication from Laura was excellent. The history of the cabin and the cabin is beyond beautiful. The views are stunning. Private beach is perfect. We cannot thank her enough for sharing her family treasure with the world.
