Adele’s place has absolutely earned a 5 star rating. Its location is 5 minutes from Rodney Bay, where you are an Allez ride (Saint Lucia’s uber) away from food, drinks, and shopping. You’re also walking distance from the country’s main cricket stadium. I spent one of my mornings jogging around the stadium and up the steep hills close by. We were able to wash clothes everyday, which is such a luxury when you’re traveling. We also utilized her kitchen so we didn’t have to eat out for every meal. My personal favorite was the shower! There are 2 things I’d point out that could cause inconveniences for some visitors. First, there is a high up window in the bedroom that doesn’t have curtains. The sun comes up early in Saint Lucia, so if you don’t want to wake up early, you may want to look elsewhere. The neighborhood is very quiet, but there are barking dogs that may keep you up or wake you up. These were non issues for me, since I like to get up early.

Douglas was an exceptional host. He’s. very welcoming, social, and was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. He made both my daughter and me feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The property was spotless and well cared for, which added to the comfort of our visit. Douglas also gave us some amazing local recommendations. A special shoutout for helping us get a table at the Pink Plantation, even when they initially said they were fully booked. A+ for that! It’s easy to see why Douglas is a Superhost.
