Stella Luna 1, Old Grayton, 2 bed 2 bath
Originally built in 2001 and now completely renovated, Stella Luna is a unique property, suitable for a couple or a small family as well as for a larger group of family or friends. This 2-story home can be rented in two different ways: either as a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom home (max 5 people, 1 king bed, 1 queen bed) or as a 3 bedroom/3 bathroom home (max 7 people, 2 queen beds, 1 king bed). For pricing on the 2 bedroom/2 bath option for 5 people or less, please see our listing for Stella Luna 1 at VRBO 3064133. Stella Luna is spacious, bright & beautiful, with an open kitchen / living room / dining room arrangement. Charcoal gray kitchen cabinets and granite counter-tops complement stainless steel appliances to make cooking and cleaning up a delight. The kitchen bar seats 4, and the rustic French country dining table seats 6 (and can easily accommodate 8). The cozy living area boasts a 58-inch Smart TV (for instant connection to Netflix, Amazon videos, YouTube, music apps, etc.), comfy sofa, 2 swivel rocker armchairs, shelves with plenty of beach books, and a cabinet containing games and cards for those long summer evenings. (Gas fireplace is non-operational.) Two upstairs bedrooms contain comfortable beds from Pottery Barn and flat screen Smart TVs. One bed is a queen, other bed is a king. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, with a spacious double vanity in the master bath. The downstairs part of the house includes an additional living area, bedroom (with a queen bed) and a full bathroom with a shower. (The downstairs is fully connected with the upstairs.) The downstairs living area comes complete with a sofa and loveseat, 50-inch Smart TV, full sized refrigerator and small sink ... a perfect place for the kids to hang out while the parents are upstairs. A premium twin-size (not cot size) fold-away bed with a memory foam mattress can accommodate the an extra person downstairs. The large screened porch is probably the best feature of the house. Located adjacent to the main living room on the second floor and surrounded by oaks and magnolia trees, the porch feels extremely private but also serves as a great vantage point from which to watch the comings and goings on Grayton's main street. The porch is arranged with Adirondack chairs forming a seating area on one end and a fabulous wicker day-bed on the other end, perfect for lazy book-reading afternoons. Turn on the festive party lights for an instant "I'm at the beach" atmosphere! Located just under the screened porch is a spacious carport and Weber charcoal grill. A separate storeroom at the back of the carport contains 2 beach bikes, as well as 5 beach chairs, an umbrella, a cooler and a large beach wagon to carry it all to the beach. After spending the day on the beach, you can rinse off in the fully-enclosed outdoor shower (hot and cold water). Then hop on one of the beach bikes to explore the adjoining beach towns in the late afternoon. In the evening, you have an easy walk to the world-famous Red Bar restaurant as well as several other outstanding dining opportunities. Stella Luna is the perfect vacation retreat for your family. You will want to come back year after year! *During the Spring Break and Summer seasons, we require a 7-night minimum stay (Sat - Sat time frame). Otherwise, there is a 3-night minimum. Exceptions are allowed on a case-by-case basis.
