Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Greater Bilbao

We had a wonderfull time at Nahia’s and Xavier’s house. Their house is so lovely. Super cozy and so nicely decorated. Fully equipped and more than enough room for all 5 of us (2 adult and 3 teenagers). Great spot to visit the coast, Bilbao and all those lovely ‘nature’ places in the immediate surroundings. Besides the house, both Nahia and Xabier are the most friendly hosts you can imagine. Super kind, always there whenever you have a question and Nahia is the best local guide, full of great tips, from restaurants, over beaches, hiking tours, food, local bakeries … Priceless! So yes, we would definitely recommend this wonderful place with its lovely hosts!

We spent a spectacular week in the family, the environment is film and the house is super comfortable, cozy and spacious. Iñaki a formidable person always attentive and very kind. We will repeat for sure. It was wonderful the stay we go back to Barcelona Renovated.

The house location is spectacular. Has an amazing view of the bay. The house itself is super clean and comfortable. Perfect location to relax and enjoy the rural Basque country, or to visit San Sebastian and Bilbao. We had a wonderful time.

Maria's house loved it, we were a group of friends and had a great time. Very large house, clean, and equipped. Communication with Maria was impeccable, very helpful at all times. We will definitely do it again.

The house is extraordinary super clean nothing to say, to be redone, also not too far from Bilbao and Guernica. Everything is available to you in the house to make you feel at home. The house is located in a very quiet and peaceful location.

Carlo’s apartment was wonderful! My kids and dog loved the small yard and hammock. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. Beautiful area and easy parking! Would stay here again.

Both Inma and her house are 10! Now that I have little time to plan vacations to have been to her house was the best plan, many local recommendations and details that we did not expect and we were very excited. The house is a paradise if you go as a couple or with babies; the entire kitchen area, dining room and living room overlook the spectacular garden that if you have the door open becomes a living room in the heart of nature. A luxury to hear and see the birds, the small river and the tranquility. It is glued to the road and you practically do not even know and you have very good communication to go to any point in the area. Definitely to be repeated. Thank you Inma.

We were delighted to spend this vacation in this lovely little home!! Aitor was very welcoming!! He welcomed us with cider, cake, and homemade tapas☺️. In addition, he knows the area very well and gave us all the info about what there was to see or to go to Bilbao!! The garden overlooks the forest, it's very nice!! And the area is beautiful, a superb sea, very pretty mountains, in short, the dream!!

Beautiful apartment which the pictures show well, with an absolutely top-notch, highly-responsive host. Begoña did a great job explaining issues in advance and communicating quickly whenever we had questions. The apartment is in a nice older building, tucked up a side street. The street is single lane, but dead-end at the end of the block, so tricky to make a u-turn in. The parking spot is located conveniently across the main street and down just a tiny bit and of course, like in much of Spain, has narrow lanes and parking spots. Bring a smaller car or excellent driving skills. The apartment itself was beautiful, as shown in the photos. We enjoyed hanging out on the balcony drinking coffee and watching folks passing by, or gazing across the Nervion river. Convenient location to stroll to the Guggenheim. Begoña was a stellar host, providing lots of touches like coffee pods in the apartment. (Pro-tip: check out Dupla Specialty Coffee nearby for the best expresso drinks!)

By far the prettiest Airbnb I've ever stayed in and one of the best hosts I've encountered. Gorka and Fabrizio were friendly, responsive, and had great restaurant recommendations, even when we were looking for something specific. I loved the apartment so much, I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy it more. It's very well stocked for an extended stay, and they left us some thoughtful and delicious welcome gifts.

We had a great time in this place located in the mountains near Bilbao: a quiet and relaxing place, not too far from downtown Bilbao but also not too far from the beaches of the coast. Alba and Gorka were great hosts, attentive and with good advice on places to visit in the area, I recommend it!😊

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful spacious & comfortable apartment.We loved starting the day with coffee & pastries from the bakery at bottom of the road. The apartment was ideally situated, everything was within walking distance. As mentioned in other reviews the front bedroom does get a bit of noise but we came prepared with ear plugs & it was'nt a problem. I am sure the same applies for most properties in Bilbao as it is full of lively bars etc. If we ever visit Bilbao again we wouldn't hesitate to stay here. The apartment is fantastic, beautiful, spacious and sparkling clean! The town is small and quiet but with a goes restaurant and a nice little square where many people come together in the evening. We enjoyed it very much and communication was very good!

We were extremely pleased with our stay at Iñigo's accommodation. The space was impeccably clean, very well equipped and exactly as described in the listing – or even better! Iñigo was an exemplary host: always available, friendly and very attentive. We feel truly welcome. We highly recommend and look forward to coming back at the next time!

The house is in a beautiful setting, a few minutes walk from the town of Otxandio, very well connected by road in any direction. The house is very well furnished, and it is very comfortable for a large group. The rooms were spacious and the garden was very nice. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great stay with Manu and Sissi who are adorable, responsive and flexible hosts. Very clean and beautifully decorated, the house is bright, spacious and comfortable to live in. Beautiful common and private spaces in a green setting, well equipped kitchen and large enough to prepare meals together without bothering each other. Very comfortable bedding and sofas in the living room with a lovely view of the garden. In the basement, sports & leisure equipment (ping pong, foosball, darts) for fun with the family. Large operational barbecue on the terrace for the tasty sardine grills of Mercado de la Ribera de Bilbao. Interesting area for city walks, cultural visits (Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao and Peace Museum in Guernica not to be missed), swimming and hiking with spectacular viewpoints. Nearby supplies (Carrefour, Lidl 15mins drive) and delicious local pintxos! In short, a score without a downside. We recommend!!!
