It is a perfect place for artists and writers to find inspiration or for guests who want to connect to nature by simply waking up with the trees. The cabin partly functions as an informal artist residency space for our friends and comrades and guest who stay will find it more as a home environment instead of a hotel. Mendin' Fences is a working farm. During the summer months, we host horsemanship clinics. For more: you can find us on the web by the name of our farm. We are a great destination for a quiet getaway, a horse stopover, or even a family reunion if renting the additional bunkhouse. In each direction, you can find many activities to enjoy: Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge; wineries; historical sites (Rogersville & Jonesborough in particular). Two airports are 50 min & 1.25 hrs away.

The cabin is set up as a getaway, there is no cell service but satellite wifi is available and a smart TV, not high tech but you can communicate with the outside world.
