Holiday rentals with lake access in Grimstad

My second time. And it tells what I think and feel about the place. Simply cozy and has a power to make you feel at home! Like Home sweet Home.

Large, great funkish house with spectacular views. The house was well equipped and has consistently good standards. Short driving distance to the zoo and walking distance to playgrounds and lovely bathing water! The hosts are nice and respond quickly to messages. We gladly came back!

Tip-top, top, thumbs up! Great new house with everything you might need. Perfect for families with children with access to toys, trampoline and the possibility of other equipment such as a high chair, etc. if desired. Playgrounds, nice hiking areas and nearby beaches. Great location right between the city center and Dyreparken (about 15 min each direction). Short drive to grocery stores and pharmacy. Cozy host who provided good information ahead of time and responded quickly to questions. There were 10 of us (6 adults and 4 children) and we had plenty of room. We gladly came back. :)

Just the view is worth to come to spend some days here ! We have an amazing time in the camping, lots of people there and still very quiet. Neigbors are friendly and helpful, everything is clean and the view, the view ! The place was very very clean when we arrive, with nice yellow tulips (it was Eastern)! The kitchen is very well equipped and even if it’s small, we managed to cook and prepare for the barbecue. The ropes for fishing are good and it’s beautiful to fish there ! We were 2, used the 2 bedrooms and were happy with the beds. Liesell answers really quickly and always very friendly! I really recommend the place and hope to be back !

We had a fantastic stay in Terje’s house. He was a great communicator and it was perfect for 2 Young families to have a long weekend away and only 20 mins drive from Dyreparken. Make sure you have bedsheets and towels with you and I am sure you will be very happy there. Great place and Great understanding host - highly recommended.

A fantastic nice and practical house that we have had a lot of fun. The host responded quickly to inquiries and was accommodating with our needs. Squeaky-free check-in and check-ins. Perfect for families with children as there is plenty of space with both toys and children's furniture available. We hope to come back another time!

We had a wonderful stay with a lovely and welcoming family! They are young, helpful, and full of adventurous spirit, and their kind children played beautifully with ours, which made the stay even more special. The cozy house is in a fantastic location right at the edge of the forest, perfect for a hike to a charming mountain hut (highly recommended!). There’s also a great spot for swimming nearby. The home has large windows that let in lots of light, and the beautiful garden was a perfect place to relax.

Staying at Kristian's place was great. The apartment was absolutely amazing:) He responded very quickly to be very friendly to nice. Would love to come back:)

Nice and small apartment that was a perfect fit for 2 adults and 1 child. Very comfortable and cozy. We were there overnight and requested for flexible checkout. Very nice host. Got a tour and recommended us to visit the lake nearby. Had all details ready and received a very welcome. Calm and peaceful surrounding in the area. Very happy with the stay and highly recommended!!

We stayed for 4 nights in Renate's home in July 2024. Large and nice house with a fantastic location, and many opportunities for activating small and large. Highly recommended and will be happy to come again.

Very nice and spacious house with large living area and smaller bedrooms. Beautiful landscapes yet close to a village and the coast. We spend a lovely day at the nearby river beach!

We very much enjoyed our 10 night stay with our 2 kids. Remote, relaxed, serene, but also close enough to small towns for bakeries, groceries, cafes, playgrounds etc. A family home where the hosts live, huge garden out the back with lots of kiddie activities (wasn’t in pictures) with all the homely details you get from living at someone’s house v a holiday rental. Hosts provided everything for the kids (beds, high chairs, toys) which made the stay extra relaxed. Gorgeous view panoramic from the living space with great balcony. Comfortable place to base your stay out of, whether chilling on the balcony, in the yard (which has its own gym btw), short walks to the water and nature trails or day trips by car around the area. Thanks a lot for sharing the place with us!
