Holiday rentals in Groningen

We stayed here for Christmas and New Year. It is a very cozy cottage. Sparkling clean and equipped with every comfort. Marlies had taken the trouble to decorate the cottage in Christmas atmospheres. There was even a Christmas tree. She also had a delicious Christmas turban at the bakery. We really felt at home. We had some bad luck with the weather but you can walk here with various excursions within walking distance. Maybe not the cheapest place to stay but really worth the money.

Great place. Close to nature. Well equipped. We were on a work trip and found the quietness great for after a stressful day.

This was the sweetest and most charming Airbnb mountain we've ever had. There was so much personality, so much spirit of Kitty and Erik in every room, every item we loved. Obviously flea market goers with an eye for what's special - just like we are! Everything very clean, with even everything on site to make yourself a plentiful first breakfast and more. The stairs up are very steep, but well secured, and our 70-year-old joints were also quick to get out. We really enjoyed these days and it was like coming home every time. Thanks for everything! Our stay with Margriet corresponded in all points to the photos and description. The house spacious, especially downstairs with large dining table and enough seating for 8 people. Tastefully styled, practical and plenty of kitchen utensils, a beautiful sun terrace and a super boathouse with canoes and saps, the absolute highlight for the grandchildren. They didn't expect anything like that (because grandma had missed it in the description). Therefore, this was our absolute highlight at Margriet's. Martina and family in April 2025

Wilma is a very nice and friendly woman. Explained and showed us everything well. We were able to walk to everything easily . We found the place as described. We are happy to recommend the apartment and will definitely be back! Ute ( with husband and 2 adult children)

We had a wonderful stay at this fantastic house! It is really perfectly appointed – everything you need is there, and it is super clean and spacious. The house is a real retreat to relax with lots of great extras such as the boat, whirlpool and perfectly equipped kitchen. The location is just ideal and our children felt very comfortable there – they even fell asleep quickly, which speaks for the comfort. Overall an absolute dream that we would book again at any time. Highly recommended!

Remote enough to be peaceful. Close enough to access everything we needed. Plenty of room, careful attention to detail, a lot of unexpected bonuses like food, wine, spa elements, etc. Very comfortable and easy. Ina was very gracious and we had no issues.
