The painted House, bed & breakfast

You are welcome to stay at 't Beschilderde Huis to enjoy Jo's artistic/homely atmosphere. Guests have their own entrance, livingroom and kitchen. Bathroom/toilet and bedrooms are upstairs. Jo often provides breakfast and/or eveningmeals. Cost not included, but by no means a 'must'. Groningen is a 15km bikeride and at 3km walk from the house there is a good busconnection. Host offers language lessons ( English, Italian, Dutch). We appreciate good communication before accepting requests.

The house is close to the Noorderplantsoen. You will love the place because of the surroundings and the base to the center with many restaurants and shops. The place is suitable for couples, solo, and business travelers. A 30-minute walk away from the cozy city center of Groningen . A 10-minute walk from the Zernike university complex The B&B is easily accessible by car. Also perfectly located for the Pieterpad runners. Free parking. Equipped with a good and healthy breakfast.

A maximum of 10-minute walk from Europapark station and a 20-minute walk from central station. Bus stop and shops/supermarket within a 5-minute walk. The spacious single room (about 20 m2) has a coffee maker and an electric kettle. Good for short stay. The bathroom and toilet are shared with the residents: Siska and Christian from 17.

I welcome you to my house, which is located in a suburb of Groningen. It is therefore wonderfully quiet. The room is on the second floor and is suitable for max. 2 persons. My house is non-smoking. The cozy room has a double bed and faces south. Breakfast can be booked for €12,-. Please let me know when you make your reservation. Easy to reach by car and public transport. Booking does not include tourist tax of €4,- pppn. Please pay this upon arrival.

Our studio is located on the outskirts of the "de Meeuwen" district, within walking distance of the city center of Groningen. Our tasteful and with great attention to detail furnished studio with en-suite bathroom and kitchen is ideal for both business trips and cultural trips. A wonderfully quiet place from where you can find the hustle and bustle and coziness of the city center. Breakfast for the first morning is included and driveway parking is free.

holiday home 'The Robin'

A nice, cozy little house on the edge of the old center. Fully furnished, comfortable and fully equipped. Can be booked for a short or longer stay. On the first day, a partly organic, self-service breakfast will be ready for you. Supermarket nearby is at Meeuwerderweg 96-98 (open until 10 p.m./Sunday 8 p.m.) The B&B does not have its own parking space. Not far and the cheapest option is the Oosterpoort parking garage - street name is Trompsingel 23.

Great sunset, best sleep of hidden space (Jeeva)

The Jeeva is a 8m2 German army unit, used for military training and named after the first guest: Eva (journalist and Russia correspondent, hence the name), converted into a double chalet. Despite its spartan image, it is one of the most comfortable accommodations at De Helleborus. It has a double bed, a small table and a bench for both. Jeeva is decorated with old Dutch designs. A nice detail is the handmade table with mosaic of old crockery.

If you want to relax, you're fine here. Rural location, cozy and quiet place, 10 km away from the city of Groningen and 3.2 km from the airport. The village is 1.5 km away. Although we live behind the airport, we do not have any noise nuisance. Biking, hiking, running, sailing on the Paterswoldsemeer, Hoornse Plas. Eelde/Paterswolde is a village with several cores. Sights, Museum De Buitenplaats, Lemferdinge Estate, Friescheveen.
