Black Rock Stables was built as an equestrian facility; however, the focus is now on providing small scale dog/cat boarding and the breeding of healthy and happy Scottish terriers. Beautiful, rustic cabin sits cozily surrounded by woodlands. This one room retreat boasts a south west vista of the Bras d'Or Lake, includes a veranda with gorgeous sunsets, king size bed and access to the beach. It is half way between Baddeck and Sydney and a perfect spot for anyone travelling the Cabot Trail. Firewood provided for fire pit if the burn ban is not in effect. Kayaks are available to use at your own risk, with life jackets, and if you are experienced in paddling.
