The house is very easy reachable via public transportation; the post-van is 5 minutes to go, with direct connection to St. Gallen (with an overall travel time of 30 minutes). The apartment itself is in the basement of an old Stickerhaus, that is an embroiderer house where once the famous embroidery of the region have been manufactured. We guarantee leisurely days in an unconventional place.

Idealer Ausgangspunkt in der Altstadt für Alleinreisende, Freunde und Familie. Historisch, einzigartig, idyllisch und doch irgendwie wild gelegen an der Mülenenschlucht direkt beim UNESCO Weltkulturerbe Stiftsbezirk St.Gallen. Wo heute kaum ein Neubau mehr denkbar wäre, wurde dieses Gebäude vor fast 200 Jahren ursprünglich als Appretur (Textilveredelung) erbaut. Relax and unwind in the 200 year old historic gardener's cottage. Idyllically located on the edge of the forest and a few minutes' walk to the village centre. Ideal for 2 adults. Beautiful garden, fireplace for cozy evenings, breakfast possible by arrangement (for an extra charge), e-charging station available at the local rate. Suitable for 2 adults and 2 children 6 years and older (on request). Unfortunately, the facility is not suitable for small children.

Nani's Höckli in Appenzellerland

Enjoy a few relaxing days in the Appenzellerland. The apartment is located in the basement of a detached house in the sunny Rehetobel. The apartment has a small but fully equipped kitchen and a double bed. A small TV and Wi-Fi are also available. The outdoor seating area is equipped with a small garden table and a chimney. Rehetobel is easily accessible by public transport, the apartment is in the middle of the village.

We do not offer cooking facilities, nor do we install temporary kitchens, it is not possible to prepare food in the room. Only the laundry room is shared. Perfect location. Less than 100m away from: Train station, bus stop, Fachhochschule, Lokremise (cultural center), Cafeteria Gleis 8, shopping facilities, Cityparking Parkhaus.

Vacation home small but nice

Our house is located on the edge of the village center. A large old birch is the landmark in our garden. The stately wooden house was built 140 years ago in the Biedermeier style and has changed little in all these years. It still reflects a forward-looking and cosmopolitan generation. In this sense, we welcome guests from near and far.
