The beautiful antique country house style immediately invites you to relax. The kitchen is well equipped. Outside of the holidays, we can often extend the check-in/out.

Burg Gemünden is a former castle from the 13th century that was converted for residential purposes during the Baroque period. The manor house offers 6 spacious bedrooms with space for up to 6 families and groups of up to 12 adults. 20 people can be accommodated in 5 double beds with good mattresses. The building also offers spacious common areas. 1 large living and dining room with an open fireplace. 1 small lounge. 1 large kitchen, a library, 1 sauna, 1 hot tub (additional €150 to use).

Lean back & relax... Our one-room apartment was created only with natural building materials. With a lot of love for detail, I have processed natural slate & oak wood here. The high-quality interior invites you to relax. Here, at the gate to the Vogelsberg, among other things, is the entrance to the volcano mountain bike trail "Mühlental." A small half-timbered house sleeps 4 - 5 people. On the first floor are the entrance area and the kitchen, upstairs the bathroom, the bedrooms and the living room. The bedroom has a double bed, 180 cm. In addition, there is a loft bed level for two people, 140 cm above the living room. In the living room, there is a sofa bed for 1 person. The ladder to the loft bed cannot be removed or locked. You should consider this if you want to travel with children.

The old coin

The house is over 500 years old, was completely newly renovated in 1994 sustainably and with style-appropriate materials yet also modern. It is a closed courtyard surrounded by old stone walls and lots of plants, great for children and animals. 1846 Loft

Vacation on the farm! You will stay in a wonderfully open and spacious loft that used to be the hayloft above the horse stable. On the lower floor of the building is our small farm café, which is only open on weekends. From there, a staircase leads to the loft. The living level is about 65 square meters, an open sleeping level can be reached via another staircase!
