Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Guardalavaca

Zenaida welcomed us warmly, and was very helpful with directions on how to get to her house. The dinner she made was one of the most delicious ones we had in all of Cuba. The room was comfortable, and big, and it was great to be just 200 m from the beach. Thanks, Zenaida!!

Reina and family made feel right at home. I felt welcomed and was treated with respect. An excellent atmosphere and I had alot of fun and laughs. Thank-you so much for everything.

i spent 5 nights in the casa, Ricardo's family is very welcoming, Ricardo super nice and made sure I had a lovely vacation with my lover. We ate well and slept very well. The bathroom is very large with large hot water shower and everything. Climatic air and fan in the room, a large fridge with freezer that allowed us to always have ice water for our day at the beach. Walking distance from beautiful Guardalavaca beach. Several options for restaurants around the beach and on the beach as well. Most places only take cash so plan it either in Canadian or pesos but have cash. I got a little cash and a credit card only. in short for my part, I would go back to Ricardo anytime I am charmed to have met him. he helped me with everything I wanted, even rent a last minute car.

Carlos is a very friendly person, he was always on top of us. The place is impressively beautiful, we could walk to the beach, Casa Carlos is very cozy and pleasant,the house is just as it looks in the photographs. Of course we will be back for a vacation at home Carlos because we felt right at home🙏🏼❤️.

Kenya told me that when I come the first time I am a guest the second time I am a friend. I don't think I felt like a guest, just a friend. They are warm and discreet people. They can give you a lot of information, you just have to ask them. Their house is very clean, the terrace... I have no words. You have to go to it to understand. Excellent location, not 1 minute but 30 seconds to the beach. The shops are almost next to the beach. Kenya and Abelito are wonderful and are 10-star hosts and 10-star friends. I recommend you discover them by going to their house.

Ana Rosa's house is located north of the city center, very close to the road to Gibara, the Taxi Colectivo stop to Gibara, for trips with luggage by bike taxi to the center or to the other stops. The first floor there is a self-contained apartment with kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom and terrace. On the second floor there are two separate rooms for rent with two shared terraces. The decor is unusual. Modern, chic, light and airy, the beds and linens are a treat. There is wifi and lamps for the power outages. Ana is a lovely, flexible host. She can help with a lot of things. Just talk to them. Breakfast is also possible by arrangement. I've been driving through Cuba for almost a year, Ana's rooms are among the best I've been able to experience so far.

Jose’s place was great! His family and him were so sweet and attentive to my husband and I. The place was pretty modern compared to most houses in Holguin, very spacious for a couple and super clean. The kitchen had mostly everything we needed to cook up something quick and anything we needed that we communicated to Jose, he got it! The small pool was nice after a long day of walking around Holguin, definitely would stay here again.

fantastic and secure place in Holguin city. let's you feel safe during your stay, and just 5-10 mins walk from most restaurants or bars. Incredible amenities considering that this is Cuba. highly reccomended to say here I would definitely return.

I actually stay in Santiago during my stay in Cuba, but having to pay $160 USD for a taxi each way to Holguín airport, it made much more sense to stay in Holguín for a couple of days and take the Viazul bus for only 13 Euros each way. Everyone from the cleaning staff to Saili, the manager, were very cheerful and helpful. The apartment was fantastic in all aspects. The pool is cleaned daily, but as I was there in January during the cold spell, so I didn't go in. I was truly lucky to find such a gem. I will definitely be staying there every time I return to Cuba! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Argenis is a great hostess he was always there when I needed something. Very helpful and very honest person always willing to go the extra mile just to make sure I was comfortable. Maria Isabel and Santiago are very helpful and accommodating. They helped me with anything I needed. That included helping me with being able to use my cell phone. I had also asked if there was someone in the neighbourhood who could cook for me each day, and they connected me with Isabel's mom. The owners and their family are lovely and honest people. The apartment is newly renovated and seems like a beautiful apartment you'd find in Europe. Clean, shiny, beautiful, and safe. It even has a safe to lock up your valuables. It's a short walk to the beach. There's a kiosk across the street and a couple of small grocery stores just up the street.
